Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in January 2019, the hotel location itself was excellent, very close to the train station, dam square, tram stops and local supermarkets. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, the breakfast was brilliant- lots of choices! Whenever we

Dear laurajanehoward95, First of all, I want to thank you for staying with us and for your detailed review. It is wonderful to read that you had a great stay, however, I am very sorry that you had to face inconveniences during your stay. Please take my deepest apologies that we missed to inform you of the fact that you are indeed able to use the Executive Lounge 24/7 if you booked an Executive Room - I wish we would have had the chance to compensate you while you were still with us. Please note that a deposit is necessary from every hotel guest to cover possible incidentals and can be given via credit card, debit card or in cash. The latter two options result in you getting back the deposit, or the rest of the deposit, in cash at check out. Also, it is always handy to keep a confirmation of your reservation with you, to sort out misunderstandings right away. I am very happy that you enjoyed your time in Amsterdam nevertheless and am very much looking forward to have the pleasure of welcoming you back again - hopefully soon! Warm regards, Caroline General Manager

We booked this hotel on the advice of a friend who said the views from the rooftop bar could not be beat. She was right. We arrived at the hotel before the official check-in, since we had taken a redeye from Boston. They had a room ready for us and check-in was easy and quick.

Very nice hotel and very close to train station. If I go back I would stay there again. Easy train ride from the airport. There are ample places to eat close by if the food in the restaurant doesn’t appeal to you although we found it to be very good. If you are a Hilton

Great hotel and staff . The best aspect is the location then the views . We ate at Starbucks not the overpriced breakfasts in hotels in cities . We ate via Albert Heijn too . The rooms seemed on the small side especially as we had experienced Sheraton at the airport on the same

Dear deni-AGP, Thank you so much for this amazing review and for sharing. We are flattered that you have chosen our hotel for this special occasion - belated congratulations to you two! I am sorry to have fallen short of our service standard to keep the corridors free of items at all times. To read that you enjoyed the rest of your stay, including the views of your room, to the fullest and you made use of the Starbucks located in the ground floor of the hotel to your convenience. Thank you also for your compliments for Yordi, you should have seen his smile! We all hope you will visit us again soon when you are planning another trip to Amsterdam! Warm regards, Caroline General Manager

Dear Sy931, It is a pleasure to be your host on this special day in February! Like many other former guest replied correctly already - yes we can. My colleagues form the Duty department will most certainly be able to assist you with your request. Please simply contact the hotel via the info email (you can find it easily on our website) and we will take care of the rest. Unfortunately it is not possible to provide you with links or contact information here on TripAdvisor, otherwise I would of course do so. My colleagues and me are looking forward to welcome you soon. Dear TravelsWithJenny, Thank you for your interest in our hotel. The easiest and of course most comfortable way to get to our hotel from the airport is by taxi - which is between 55 and 65 Euro for a drive around 30 minutes. You can also contact my colleagues from the Guest Service department who will be happy to organize your transfer if needed. Another option is to take a train for 15 minutes, followed by a 7-10 minutes walk for. However, as this will be physically demanding with several pieces of luggage (even though you could use elevators instead of stairs) I do recommend the taxi - also because the weather in Amsterdam is unpredictable. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you to our hotel soon. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask and / or contact us directly. Warm regards, Caroline General Manager

Do you happen to have any adjoining rooms for families with younger children?
Dear CGrosshans, Thank you for your interest and this question. Yes, we do certainly have adjoining rooms for families with children. The maximum amount of persons for two adjoining rooms would be five - two in a standard room and three in an adjoining accessible room, where it is possible to place an additional bed. Optionally, for a family of four, you can also only book one of our suites (Junior / Executive / Master) as the bed, couch and extra bed can accommodate guests. I hope this answers your question, but do not hesitate to ask more! It would be a pleasure to welcome you and your family in Amsterdam soon. Warm regards, Caroline General Manager
