We enjoyed our stay here. The room was nice and a lot more spacious than most in Amsterdam. We had no views unfortunately die to the location of our room but that and the prices of drinks in the sky bar are the only negatives...More
We were booked in here by Scenic Cruises, prior to our 16 Day Jewels of Europe River Cruise.
Hotel is very well located, right next to Centraal Station & all the major buses, trams & canal boats. Rooms are small but well equipped, clean and...More

The area was quiet and felt very safe. Room was nice and clean not very big but adequate. The only complaint is the hot water that seemed to have hiccups in consistency.
Breakfast was varied, rich and tasty.
Doubletree usually means a notch below a regular Hilton but this property exceeded all my expectations.

Dear Durga M,
Thank you so much for your recent stay in our hotel. We are happy to see that you have had an enjoyable stay with us! We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to our hotel again.
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

Unfortunately I don’t know. On the nights I went there it was packed, very loud and no seating. I noticed half the area was closed off but I don’t know why. I took in the view and then went across the street to Brugge Tripel and chilled by the canal. I was booked into the executive suite and at Check-in they didn’t offer access based on status.
