Pros Hostel is based in a great location, in strict downtown; it's a good place to stay if you have a vacation of 2-3 nights. Prices are not bad for Amsterdam, we paid around 60 EUR per night in march. The reception staff was wonderful, everyone always greeting us with a smile and eager to help. Rooms have free water...

Rooms were clean and simple but I have to agree with the majority of the reviews in that the room size was extremely small with little to no storage space. This resulted in the floorspace being used as our personal wardrobe making it difficult to manoeuvre. The hotel itself is located very centrally in a bustling part of the city,...

Only downside was no hair drier :( The reception...

My friend and I stayed here in early March. We were extremely pleased with the central location - 5/10 min walk from the flower market and main shopping street, around 15 to Dam Square - basically all key tourist places are accessible by foot! Unfortunately, we got the short straw and had one of the rooms on the fifth floor,...

A good budget hotel with an ideal city centre location, representing good value for money. Reception staff were always friendly and helpful. Our group booked five rooms. All were comfortable and had perfectly adequate facilities, although storage space for clothes is extremely limited. Some rooms on the front of the building have good street views, while those on the back...

Yes, the hotel offers luggage storage. My flight got in very early and they stored my luggage for hours as I explored Amsterdam.

Catch the 197 bus outside main entrance of the airport. I think one leaves every 30 mins. Get off at Leidseplein . It's about a 5min walk to the Acostar hotel. Bus ride is about 25 mins and costs 3 - 5 euros. Cheapest way to get into the city. The train only goes to Centraal Station , 1/2 hour walk (if you know the city) longer if it's your first visit or you can take the tram. Train trip and tram ride together almost 20 euros.

Take tram 1 ,2 or 5 from Centraal Station get off at either Keizersgracht or Princengracht on Leidsestraat. When you get off you'll be short block from Kerkstraat which is the street the hotel is on. 15- 20 min tram ride , 2- 3 min walk to hotel when you get off. The trams leave the station often so you won't have to wait long. Enjoy Amsterdam !

Hi. You got two at the same distance. Princengracht and Keizersgracht. One block and a half.
