We had the back room with room for two adults and two boys (7 and 10). Our boys did not want to leave, it was such a great location, near station, shops, parks, library, boats. We spent 4nights and could have stayed more! Steep narrow stairs but usual for an old canal house. We were able to make drinks and...

We booked the 'Canal Room'. Second floor, with delightful views of the canals. The room was decorated with interesting paintings and drawings - some of an erotic nature ! The host, Loes, was really excellent, and the breakfast was all that we needed. If you want to stay in a place with real character, this is the place for you.

With only two rooms available this doesn't have the feel of a B&B but really more like a home away from home. The owners could not have been more accommodating or helpful. Wonderful room overlooking the canal. Large and comfortable. Breakfast was at our leisure and all we could eat, including eggs and bacon. The view is incredible and it...

We had the canal room in this charming B&B, which I highly recommend. The canal room is very comfortable and large, as is the bathroom with 2 sinks and tub and shower. Wonderful hosts -- very helpful. Location is excellent -- within walking distance of the Central Station and trams. Good restaurants nearby. Price is very good also.

The en-suite bathroom was huge. plenty of hot water and towels which were replaced regularly. Our hosts were very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Good breakfast with a good variety of products to eat from bacon and eggs, fresh...

This historic canal house is in the center of Amsterdam's beautiful canal-laced old center. Our 2nd story room was large and comfortable with great views over the canal. Easy walking distance to numerous restaurants, canal-side cafes, and places of interest, and from Amsterdam central railroad station. Also close to tram stops for wider excursions. Friendly and interesting hosts, and very...

The recommendations on TA were right on. The husband and wife hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had the spacious room on the 2nd floor overlooking the canal., but did not have to take our luggage up ourselves. We had arrived in the morning before our room was ready, and while we were out touring, the host took our...

We had the canal room which was huge. Massive bed and great bathroom too. Breakfast was really nice, hosts friendly and answered all the questions we had. You can come and go with your key whenever you like. And only 8 min walk to the station. It was such a great stay overlooking an Amsterdam canal.
