We chose CityCenter for our two-night stay in Amsterdam based on the many favorable TripAdvisor reviews - and were delighted to find them all true! The location was ideal, the room charming, the breakfast a real feast - all a terrific value. And the best part? Wonderful Camillo who greeted two train-weary travellers with a big smile and cookies and...

I usually stay with friends when I visit Amsterdam but because they were out of town this time I had to look for an alternative that was affordable, conveniently located and had nice amenities. I'm glad I found Camillo & Joost's place, there is nothing better: a 5 minute walk from Central Station; a safe, perfect location; spacious, quiet rooms;...

My wife and I were searching for a B&B for a 3 day stay and the City Center web site was easy to register and confirm our rooms. The location was perfect - easy walking from the train station, and in 3 days we did not need to take a tram - even the Rijksmuseum was a pleasant walk thru...

First of all Camillo and Joost are so friendly. The B&B (THE PLACE) is located perfectly in the city centre in a hide street (NO noise during the night) and close to all the main attraction of the city (most of the time you do not need any buses, trains... ). The room is fantastic. Beautiful and well cleaned. The...

We had a fantastic time in this B&B! It was picture perfect with fresh tulips on our arrival. Very clean, quiet and relaxing. The breakfasts each morning were amazing and prepared us for a full day of sightseeing. The location of this B&B is so ideal since it is so close to the Central Station. I would highly recommend it!

I spent one night at this Bed & Breakfast with my teenage son and can recommend it to anyone: cosy and comfortable rooms in stylish typical old-Amsterdam bulding, great service by friendly owners with care for details (variety of biological teas included, breakfast served in the room). And the location is just perfect: a quiet street, right in the middle...

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
