Amsterdam is a superb place to visit, made all the better by stopping at Camillo & Joost's place. I booked this B&B on the strength of the previous reviews and was definitely not disappointed. You are greeted with a warm friendly welcome and some very helpful information about the area. The rooms and bathroom are spotless. I was a little...

I stayed in this B&B during a city break with my friend and it was perfect. The owner, Camillo, was so friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom were spotless. Numerous small details made this B&B really special, for example, clean towels daily, fresh flowers in the room on arrival, incredible breakfast (a veritable feast) served to your room, dvd...

Perfect B&B as it is located centrally within walking distance to most sites, quiet, comfortable beds and nice, clean rooms, great breakfasts, and gracious hosts.

After a long flight and early arrival in Amsterdam from Australia, we all arrived at CityCenter B & B to be greeted by Camillo. He is a very gracious host and made us feel quiet welcome. The rooms are very clean, bright and very quaint and offer so much more than some hotels and other B & B's in Europe...

With our friends from London, we like to make regular weekend trips. The reviews we found about CityCenter sounded good so we decided to give it a try. We booked two rooms and that worked out very easy. When we arrived we found a very sweet place in the heart of Amsterdam. A typical house from the 17th century of...

We were with a couple of friends 3 nights at CityCenter bed and breakfast. We don’t have enough words for what a fantastic bed and breakfast it is. Camillo, when we arrived, gave us a warm welcome with drinks and a very good Italian tiramisu’ (home made!!!! What a better begin!! The rooms are colorful decorated with a romantic touch...

Camilla and Joost are amazing hosts (not like some jaded b&b owners!), the best bed and breakfast owners I have come across: they were attentive, warm, very helpful, but not overly intrusive. They are genuine people. Camillo researched Indonesian restaurants for us and we tried one that he suggested and we liked it very much. They went out of the...

The unimaginative name belies the creative and thoughtful manner in which Camillo and Joost looked after us during our 3 night stay in Amsterdam. They went out of their way to be helpful. The rooms were decorated to a high standard and supplied with those little extras that make the accommodation special, including chocolates, fresh flowers, dressing gowns, plentiful towels,...

A fabulously, warm and welcoming B&B, with excellent hosts and situated in a brilliant location, within seconds of Dam square. Althought you do share a bathroom with the other guest room, this was never a problem and it was kept immaculately clean. We were given clean towels every day and there was always a surplus amount of tea, coffee, hot...

Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
