Accidentally stumbling upon reviews of CityCenter B&B on TA, I have cancelled a hotel booking that I have made to stay at this particular B&B. I have just returned from 21 day Europe trip, and we still talk about Camillo’s (proprietor) warm hospitality. CityCenter B&B is located just 7 minutes walking distance from the centraal station, 7 minutes from Anne...

Camillo and Joost have a lovely Bed and Breakfast. There are only two rooms, but this allows for extra care. The breakfasts are wonderful and delivered to your room, so you can eat in your PJs if you wish. The location can't be beat, as it is only a short walk from the train station, and close to shopping and...

I had a wonderful stay at this B&B. It's central location, just minutes away from the Central Station, Jordaan district, the Dam, and the Red Light District made it the perfect place to set out on foot from and explore the city. Room was very comfortable (complete with fresh flowers!), the traditional Dutch breakfast was delicious, and the bathroom was...

Camillo and Joost were great inn keepers. They were attentive to our needs and went out of their way to help us out. Their location is a short walk from the train station which made it the perfect location for us. We appreciated the fact we didn't have to take a taxi to our room. The breakfast provided was substantial...

We really enjoyed our stay at the CityCenter B & B. We had no idea where we were going and it really was just a 3 minute walk from the train station. Amsterdam was the last city on our European trip. When we arrived - late arrival - we were warmly greeted with a smiling face and a glass of wine and a bottle of beer. We got some inside tips and suggestions which proved to be very useful. The B & B was clean, comfortable, had a great location, and the...

After just a sort walk from the central train station, we were greeted by Camillo, who eagerly helped us with our bags and provided us with maps and info on the city. The room was spotless and welcoming with...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
