My husband and I stayed for one night and it was a great place. We were greeted warmly and given a walkthrough of all the amenities within the apartment along with a great overview of what was where etc in the city. The location was brilliant with most things a short walk away.We were warned of the hostel next door...

The apartment was beautiful, very nicely decorated, and a perfect size for a couple looking to stay a few nights in Amsterdam. The kitchen was well equipped, quite small which is understandable given the overall size of the apartment, but with so many restaurants near by this was never an issue. Owners were absolutely lovely, very accommodating and welcoming in...

We loved our three nights at La Vie En Rose. The place is spacious and lovely. It has everything you need in it and is decorated well. Location was perfect, situated very central to most things that the average tourist wants to do, and the tram outside will take you right outside the main museums. Owners were relaxed, helpful and...

The accommodation is situated in downtown of Amsterdam near Central Station beside a tram stop. From this apartment we can reach everything easy on walk. If we stand in front of building of apartment and head to the left we can arrive at a calmer and amazing Jordan district. However we head to the right we can find ourselves in...

Dear guests, thank you very much for your feedback! Its nice to hear you enjoyed your stay at the apartment and Amsterdam. You stayed at the 1st (european) floor apartment, not the 2nd😉 The stairs are indeed steep in Amsterdam and that adds to the caracter of the typically built old canal houses in Amsterdam. We, ourselves live on the...

My partner and I had a one day layover in Amsterdam and this was the perfect spot - in walking distance to all sights and very convenient. The one bedroom flat was beautiful and in perfect condition. Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

“We stayed in 1st floor apartment so only 1 flight of stairs to negotiate. Bedroom has a double bed but not a lot of room to move however plenty of space in the living area to store things including a cupboard for clothes.”

“If you are not from Europe please note this is a “self catering” apartment, not a typical B&B as you do not get breakfast. However, there are many wonderful places to dine nearby and the owners provide many excellent non-touristy recommendations . Also, the stairs are a typical steep and narrow Dutch staircase, so plan accordingly and do not bring too much luggage or anything too heavy.”
