Although the rooms are quite nice and clean, the basement room was nice and spacious and I would stay in that room again. The other room had lots of very narrow stairs and quite bad road noise. The bathrooms are nice. I would maybe expect a little more for the price. The beds are comfy too. 25-30 minutes walk to... More

. . . And I'm sure glad we did! After reading slamming negative reviews my husband and I were doubting our decision booking our trip to Amsterdam at Miauw Suites. Everyone has their own experiences and ours was pretty good really. We couldn't fault the location, this place is in the best spot. Close walking distance to everything, great cafe... More

While we never actually met our host, Analik, due to conflicting schedules, she was very communicative and made sure everything was complete and ready for our arrival. She instructed us on where and how to find the keys, and when we got into the flat, it was delightful. Beautiful street views of the canal, bright and tastefully furnished, the charming... More

It is the first time that the real rooms are better than the pictures! We took the suite and it has two rooms with an incredible canal view. The girl at the recepcion was really kind. It is not a hotel structure, but we are really glad!

We have visited Amsterdam before, but never met such a rude hotel manager like this one. This women (Tara) doesn't care at all about hospitality or client experience. The hotel wasn't anything special, but the hotel could have given us a more comfortable experience when we asked for some suggestions. The hotel is located in the city center, but at night... More

I stayed for three nights in the Black Room with my wife. The Black Room is basically as a hotel room with a separate bath. The room is nicely decorated and have an iMac for the guests to use. My friend and I stayed in the Blue Room after reading reviews in the NY Times, and we had no complaints. Analik's assistant was there at 6PM to greet us and carry our suitcases up the narrow and twisty stairs. The blue room is on the first floor up, so this wasn't so much of a problem (not sure how... We found this B&B online and decided to stay here after reading some positive reviews. The rooms are beautiful, bright, modern and located in an old canal house in the center of Amsterdam. We could easily walk with our trolleys from Central Station and it was also a good base to explore the beautiful center of Amsterdam. Although pretty expensive,... More

We needed to overnight in Amsterdam before a flight out early the next day, and we wanted to be in the city, not at Schipohl. We found this room at Miauw and decided to take it, based on the nice write-up and some decent reviews. It was a nice enough room with a very comfortable bed, and had a nice... More
