First surprise lack of staff no breakfast only breakfast boxes handed out in the morning. In the evening in order to eat anything one has to go to the airport restaurant. The hotel bar closes early at 8:30 pm. Rooms require a little better cleaning.
I've used this hotel a lot and always found it great, welcoming and convenient. The breakfast buffet is always a winner and makes the stay worthwhile. I was shocked when I checked in to be told due to staff shortages the breakfast is now in a takeaway bag!!! I suggest not booking breakfast and pop across the road to McDonald's. Once the breakfast is reinstated then this place will get 5 stars again.
Very dirty room, was not clean, last costumers papers, socks. Still at the room. Shower soap dispenser empty, very small room, dirty and paid breakfast but they told us, no staff, so no breakfast , only a bog with some food to take away
Nice rooms, quiet. Good service at the Reception. Good breakfast, but in 2 of 4 days was not available, we got instead a “to go” packet. Clean rooms, easy acces to the airport terrace, also to the bus station.
We stayed there because of the location. To get a non-connected room, you have to take superior room, that is more expensive, but actually nothing superior. Most important - room is quite and you can sleep well and go to plane at last minute (suggest to take 2 hour advantage before flight, because security check can be mess)
On Friday 18/03/2022 my family (4 pers./2 rooms) stayed 1 night at Tulip Inn Eindhoven. The quality and location of this Tulip Inn are really top. Unfortunately, the unfriendly and even downright brutal welcome to one of my daughters by receptionist F ruined the start of an extended w-e holiday. Am I coming back? Certainly! But hopefully, as in previous years, we will be welcomed more friendly and with a smile. k.r. Dirk
I stayed over for one night before an early flight. Rooms are comfortable and sound-proofed well; so departing airplanes aren't a bother. I was a bit unsure about buying the additional breakfast, but I'm quite happy I did since it turned out to be really good.
Due to an early flight we decided to book a 1 night stay close to the airport. What could be improved is that during the reservation process you are either made aware of, or offered an opportunity to book parking for your car since the hotel itself does not offer any parking!
The room was nothing special and the bathroom was a bit weird. The sink is in the room, the toilet and shower are in a glass-walled bathroom, which might give little privacy when two people are staying. The location is amazing though
We were called what time we would arrive at the hotel. Answer: 30 minutes. When we arrive at the desk, it appears that the receptionist has canceled the room after all. The new person at the desk also couldn't find our details at first and he reported that the hotel was full. After much back and forth, there was still a room available. I find this strange, that's not how you treat customers
