Located right alongside one of ‘s-Hertogenbosch’s biggest tourist attractions, the gothic St. John’s Cathedral, and just above the liveliest restaurant street in the Netherlands: that is The Duke Hotel. Being just a two minute walk from both the Noordbrabants Museum and the departure point for the boat trips on the Binnendieze underground waterway, this is the ideal spot for anyone wanting to explore Brabant’s beautiful capital. As one enthusiastic guest commented: “The Duke is a cool urban address and a great place to stay for a city break.” An additional advantage is that the hotel is run by locals who know the city inside out. They share their love for the city and its hidden places with passion. Come and discover the real ’s-Hertogenbosch..!

We recently spent one night at this property while on a bicycle trip in Holland. We really didn't know what to expect because "boutique" can mean it's a great place or it can mean an odd place. We were a little worried when we first entered the building (it shares a front door with other businesses, so it does make you wonder if you are in the right place). We followed the instructions upstairs to the "front desk" and we were still wondering -- the industrial chic decor made us wonder what the room would really be like. But then we got to the room -- and it was great!!! Spacious, quiet, great air conditioning, it had a small sitting area by the window, great bedside reading lights, coffee/tea options, super walk-in shower, ultra modern decor. The dark walls do make the room a little dark, but lighting was great and being on the top floor meant we could keep the shades open. Breakfast the next morning is offered in a light-filled room by the "front desk" - a very nice buffet and they make coffees and eggs to order. Friendly staff, great location, and a safe, underground bicycle parking place just outside the front door. This truly is a hidden gem of a hotel!

Situated in the center, no parking at the hotel but at 10 min walking distance there is a city garage. Room at the back side was noisy due to ventilation of building next door. Even with closed windows there was too much noise which kept going until 4am. The dark on dark design of the room makes it a challenge to find switches.

Great hotel in the middle of the city center. Kind staf, great breakfast in the room and cool style of interior. It is close to everything nice Den Bosch has to offer; great cuisine, nice cocktails and little gems. Great bed and bathroom en suite. Even had a sauna in the room. Efficiency at its best! #tip; there isn’t a parking garage really close; it takes a 10 min walk at least.

We had a wonderful stay at the Boutique Hotel in Den Bosch. It's located in the center of this beautiful city. The staff is young, polite and friendly. Our suite was cozy and quiet filled with all one needs to feel at home. The portable steamer was very useful for the blouse I used that evening. The interior has an industrial theme. We loved it. The bed was very comfortable. So since we didn't see all of Den Bosch on our first stay I am sure we will return. Thank you very much!

What a fantastic boutique hotel in Den Bosch. The location is right in the centre and amidst all the restaurants and coffee bars. The rooms are spacious and the are all air conditioned. The rooms are in a modern layout and are clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Coffee and tea are free of charge all day/night and the coffee was excellent. The hotel serves breakfast which looked yummy. There is no restaurant in the hotel but you don't need one as there are plenty within a 5 minute walk. All in all a great experience and this hotel comes highly recommended.

This is one hotel that feels like one is home away from home. I have stayed here a few times now and it is one of the best boutique hotels around. The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful. Centrally located and close to the best restaurants in the city.

We loved our stay at the Duke. It is in the centre of the centre of the city: awesome. The interior of the room had a very tasteful industrial theme: beautiful. The people working were very kind: lovely. We were here in the middle of a heatwave but barely noticed it because of the silent and powerful air-conditioning: life saving. And last but not least, we could take our little pug with us without a problem: perfect. If we ever go to Den Bosch again, we know where we'll be staying. Thank you very much!

Really nice hotel. The rooms are great. The way the rooms are decorated are fantastic. The hotel is located in the middle of Den Bosch. Den Bosch is an amazing city. We had a great time. There was hardly any noice from outside. The staff was friendly. Two things i noticed and reasons why i don't give it a 5 star rating. The first day we came we asked for recommendations. The lady at the desk hardly cave any. Also we booked a scavenger hunt. This wasn't ready when we came. That was a shame. Also the breakfast was great but one morning it was difficult for the staff to manage the breakfast and the check out at once.

Stayed here for a business day and was very pleasantly surprised by how friendly and customer oriented the staff was. The room itself was spacious enough for me, clean and well equipped with all that is needed including a nice espresso machine. There is a very well equipped gym that looks super clean and invites you to work out. The breakfast is very good and the staff can make you a nice egg/omelet and really understands how to service customers without it being over the top. The hotel is situated in the center of Den Bosch, street side but there is no noise coming in due to the double windows. Very very nice all together!
