After paying through the hotel web site ( which in fact is hotelvalues.com) the receptionist told me that she had no trace from my booking. I had to pay again at the hotel. The receptionist told me that I will not be charged twice but this is exacly what happened since that, it's impossible to reach the customer service
Hello Campanile The service people were very friendly, the room is a little bit outdatet, bt no problem The biggest problem is the carnoise through the windows etc. I'm sorrry to say that the room noise was realy to much, all night car noise. For the rest the people were postitive and friendly, so as the breakfast. good luck
Had to drive for 2 hours to pick up my girlfriend there because the hotel and Expedia had a problem with payment transfer but made the customer’s issue. She did not cancel any hotel booking and had been staying there already so to make this statement is ridiculous by a rude and incompetent staff member named Inez who has narcissistic personality disorder which is a mental disorder from her behaviour including lying and was recorded because my partner works in this field. The staff member was Inez (Hispanic appearance) and spoke as if she was the owner of the hotel. She was immature, unprofessional and incompetent. My partner had made the payment and this was sent to the company website. If there is a problem with the payment process from Expedia through Ebookers then this is for the hotel and the hotel to deal with, not a customer. The rooms were amazingly cleaned and organised inside. Other members of staff working there were Laura and Nikki, my partner says they are first class customer service and they should be made to train the staff to the high standards they have or the hotel will be in ruin with other staff members coming from other sites.…
Nice little rooms at reasonable rates. Calm location with little lake nearby. Very friendly staff. Some repaintigs needed here and there. Elevator would be great. Overall satisfaction very good. We will come back...
I dont need a lot, but this was even below that standard. I just had a long cycling trip and was exhausted. If I wasnt that exhausted, i would have asked my money back about half way through the experience and cycled to another hotel.... Just a summary: - Price charged at the desk was higher then on their own website. - Was assigned a room that was under repair - After a room change, the second room didn't have curtains (due to that they were being cleaned due to Corona, but why give me that room?). -To make up for the error, I was offered a free beverage, but 5 minutes before I just bought two cans from the same guy.... so now I had 3 drinks... - On further inspection of the room, the sheets were dirty, but I could not be bothered changing rooms again. - The rooms themselves are very outdated, smelly and have a very tiny bathtub. Dont even think about laying it it, maybe the kids can use it, but not adults. - The restaurant looks like a construction workers hut (I know corona doesnt improve the cozyness, but still) - First got an amuse (of which I appreciate the idea) which was a small slice of old brie with a pickle.... - I was recommended a pasta bolognese (at 5 euro's more than the average menu price for other dishes). But it was cold, bad quality and not tasty. I did not finish it, although i was very hungry after the cycling. - I must admit that they gave me a 5 euro discount after I complained it was cold - Breakfast is pretty expensive (12 euros!) for what you get. For example the milk is "long lasting milk" and fried eggs or something else that is hot is not an option. The two staff members at the check in were very friendly, but clearly poorly trained / left hanging. All other staff members were also friendly, but barely speak Dutch. Long story short: Traveller: Skip this hotel if you can Campanile: Tear it down and build a new hotel incl. extensive training of the staff. If you dont build a new hotel, lower your prices signicantly!…
Motel style accommodation. Staff were great, food was ok but the place is well worn and quite basic for the price we were paying. I could stay here again but would look for something more central and modern.
Clean room, good bed, friendly service. Mediocre accomodations. If you have a short stay and just need a place to seleep this is a good option. A bit too far from the city center with not many travel options
Stayed here with my wife for 2 nights 5 to 7th of December 2018, travel a lot around Europe staying in a variety of hotels, wasn’t expecting much but this place is awful! did not sleep for 2 nights as the mattress was uncomfortable and the springs were coming through the mattress, it was cold with draughty Cold air coming into the room under the door and through the windows, the walls of the room were ‘filthy’ dirty with marks all over them, there was chewing gum stuck to the headboard of the bed, the bath leaked every time we had a bath and shower flooding the bathroom, partly down to the badly repaired plug hole in the bath, with cracked tiles, I have taken photos of all the problems with the room, made a complaint via email and was promised a refund which has never materialised Thus the lateness of the review! Stay away can’t understand at all how there are any positive reviews. …
This hotel or motel is so basic that you have to laugh at it. The rooms include the bathroom about 10 square meters and strangely laid out. With two people you immediately get in each other's way and there is only one uncomfortable chair. The bed is hard and stand with head and side against the wall so you have to crawl into the bed through the foot end. The bathroom is due for maintenance and could in the meantime be cleaned better. The rooms are badly insulated for outside noises. The restaurant is really good, a simple but honest menu and reasonably priced. This also applies to breakfast although the price of this is much too high. Parking is free on site or in the immediate vicinity.
You get what you pay for, There were cockroaches in my room and it looked like there was blood on the ceiling. Furthermore, the bathroom was very outdated. Also it looks like on of those American motels you see in movies.
