Hotel Julien is named after the architect who designed the building in neo-renaissance style: Julien Dony. You can admire more of his work in Den Bosch, for example the Dragon Fountain at the Stationsplein. In Hotel Julien you don’t just have a room, you will have the entire hotel at your disposal! Relax in the lobby, drink your fresh cup of coffee in the coffee bar or enjoy our pleasant city garden. At your request we will make you a lovely breakfast. At walking distance from the hotel you will find a range of bistros, lunchrooms and restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our fully equipped kitchen is available for all guests who have their own culinary wishes. At Hotel Julien we offer you the ideal accommodation for your business trip, your weekend getaway or a longer stay. We like to give you some privacy and that’s why our personnel is not present 24 hours a day. However, we are always available and we are present during check-in. That way, we can give you some tips

Hotel Julien is gorgeous. Beautiful communal areas, beautiful room, even a beautiful bathroom. All clean and newly refurbished. Location is very very convenient - nearly opposite the station and they also have bikes you can rent. Even better are the thoughtful touches: help yourself to coffee and tea in the breakfast area at any time of day, kitchen that guests can use, a complementary mini-bottle of Prosecco, ear plugs, and more. Thoroughly recommended.

Stayed at the Hotel Julien for 2 nights while on business, Its a fantastic little hotel in a great location close to bars & restaurants in the centre but at the same time nice & quiet as well, lovely friendly owners who recommended me some restaurants and the breakfast was great fresh bread still warm from the bakery and lots of choice 5 stars from me.

Hotel Julien has an excellent location, just minutes from the station in one direction and minutes from the town centre in the other. I was a little concerned that this might mean it was noisy, but the street it is on is surprisingly quiet. We were delighted to be told on arrival that we had been upgraded from a room to a suite, which has a separate living and sleeping area, an extremely comfortable double bed, a bathroom with toilet, large walk-in shower and bathtub. It also has small kitchen and access to a private terrace. The mini bar has a small selection of beer, water and chocolate and is offered free of charge. Breakfast is available at 16€ per person, is generous and can be taken as quickly or as leisurely as you want. The design and decor in this hotel are indeed lovely, though occasionally less than totally practical. The sleek and lovely bathtub has nowhere for you to put the soap (you have to balance it on the edge) and we would have welcomed a drawer or two. Overall, though, these are very minor criticisms and we would certainly return.

Maybe it's because it is still fairly new and reputations take time to build but I am surprised this only comes in at 11 on the Den Bosch list. The place has been cleverly converted and is a mix of traditional with some very moden touches. The beds are comfortable, the rooms a good size and the bathroom well equipped with an excellent shower (and a tub in our room at least). The staff are friendly and helpful (although there is no front desk for most of the day and you are on your own so don't forget your key when going out!) - they even emailed us to report that we had left a book behind after we had checked out offering to post it on, as it was, we had finished it but that is excellent service. Coffee is available all day in the lounge with a Nespresso machine in the room. There is a complimentary minibar in the room and a small bottle of Prosecco to welcome you on arrival, a nice touch. The location is superb being steps away from the main station and just a few minutes into the centre with its vast number of bars, restaurants and shops as well as the sights of course. Breakfast was very nice and they will cook you an egg but is quite pricey for what it is. This has to be reserved the afternoon before as everything is ordered in. One word of warning, if you are on the second floor it's quite a hike up the stairs and no lift! There are ground floor rooms and if you have mobility problems this should be specified. If we return to Den Bosch, this will be our place to stay.

This hotel is almost perfect. I was travelling on business and despite this I genuinely wanted to stay longer. The staff are attentive, helpful and genuinely care. The rooms are spacious and modern with lots of lovely things added in, a little bottle of prosecco for example. The bathroom was stunning with a wet room style shower. The breakfast was tasty with good coffee and freshly baked bread. I really can't think of anything negative to say other than I wish it was more than just the one night!

Stayed for three nights in late September. Booked a second room for colleague. Staff really friendly, rooms superb, very spacious and welcoming. Breakfast offering was extremely varied and plentiful. Everything in the Hotel Julien is relaxed but the staff are attentive and welcoming. Location is great - close to the train station and shopping centre. The welcome pack/mini bar is a lovely touch. Wifi and TV channels were varied and reliable.

We stayed here with 6 guys during Jazz in Duketown. Great, brand new hotel. Rooms are very well equipped and styled. Nespresso machine, complementary bar in the room as well as in the lounge. Very good (rain)shower, Netflix, excellent beds. Very close to Railway station and town centre. Great value for money!!! Nice breakfast bar across the street if you don't want to have breakfast in the hotel.
