This was a perfect gem. The service. The location, the arrival, the room- we were in room 6 (2 Doubles with sitting room and kitchen) The breakfast was delicious, had in a lovely courtyard on hottest day of year! Bedrooms were air conditioned. Thank you for such a special stay. To cap it off the town was a joy with so many lovely shops and restaurants - a Mini Amsterdam
self-serve beer fridge in courtyard open 24/7, so of course the party was on at 3am · Great location, nice staff, decent breakfast with high quality foods. · Charming overall aesthetic, location and staff. This though is not a hotel so much as a set of Airbnb-type apartments where they hand you a tray of nice breakfast. Carpet was clean but stained and covered entire floor including kitchen. Dishes/cutlery with 4 of everything, some times 2, so if you are there for a few days you will wash some dishes. Decent cookware but no sharp knife, only butter knives. Shower drain was slow and overflowed, and we could not find anyone around to help. Here though is the major issue. Our room was quite hot (and we weren't there on the heatwave days, can't imagine). The sun shines directly into the room all afternoon until late sunset and no cross-ventilation. The room overlooked an interior courtyard where other hot guests drank and chatted, including one group at 2:45am upon returning from the bars, where they continued to drink out of the large refrigerator full of beer and wine the hotel supplies on the honor system. So our sleeping choice was close the windows and roast, or open them and be part of the noisy 3am party. At $200 a night this is totally unacceptable.…
On arrival, we loved the entrance with the bridge to the hotel, it looked really idillic. At check-in we were met by the very friendly owner. After dropping of our luggage at the hotel, we parked our car at Parking de Wolvenhoek, about 300 meter from the hotel. The location of the hotel is wonderful: in a quiet old spot in the middle of the bustling city of Den Bosch. WIthin 200 meters you are in the heart of the action close to some very nice restaurants. We had the appartement consisting of 2 floors. It was decorated in a very stylish manner and it felt like home away from home. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. Breakfast was served in the room which was quite a nice feature. We really loved the Uylenhof hotel and really like to go back some other time.…
A very nice boutique apart-hotel in the centre, but quiet area of Den Bosch. Great for a romantic weekend. Breakfast is delivered to your room in the morning. Don't expect a mass of food, but its is more than sufficient and enures no waste - unlike hotel buffets!
Stayed here for leisure but would also highly recommend it for business travellers. Super hospitable host with lots of humor who will go to great lengths to give you a memorable stay. He knows the city by heart so can always give really nice insider tips. The hotel had spacious beautifully decorated rooms with king size (super comfortable) beds. The rooms are more like an apartment, so also ideal for all sorts of travellers. As the hotel does not have 24/7 staff make sure you align on arrival time.
Truly wonderful stay with Theo and his family at this stylish, well designed, yet homely hotel. Generous breakfast, which also doubled up as lunch for our trip to Efteling. Look no further, this is the one.
These mini apartments were a unique find in the middle of Den Bosch. Very comfortable and quiet. The owner brings a delicious breakfast to your apartment. He was very helpful with any requests. It was nice to have the option to self cater having the small kitchen available. Den Bosch (s-Herzogenbosch) is a very nice town with a fantastic atmosphere, lots of lovely bars and restaurants and an interesting shopping area. I would like to come back here and would stay in the Uylenhof Hotel. There are other interesting towns nearby such as Utrecht, Amsterdam and Antwerp.
Unique boutique hotel in city centre, the owner and his staff set the highest standards in terms of friendliness, personal service, quality, cleanliness and facilities. Spacious rooms with kitchenette and terrace.
We had adjoining rooms for a night and I cannot recommend this hotel enough... very friendly and welcoming hosts who provided the most bountiful and delicious breakfast... the rooms are sublime with exquisitely tasteful decor and a real sense of history...bathrooms are Excellent with great showers and amenities. Beds very comfortable and a very handy small kitchen...... will come Again!!! Thanks! Alistair, Gill, Rory and Sandy
For those who want to know the central and southern part of the Netherlands, Den Bosch is a quiet city with easy access to the highways. This small hotel has great facilities, the rooms are very nicely decorated, huge, and in our case had a mini kitchen. Breakfast is brought to the room each morning. The location is quiet but the parking around is very expensive. So park far from the central part of the city. Q-Park has a good option about 20 minutes walk, single price per day. The hotel does not have employees, 24 hours, so it is important to schedule the arrival time. To the owners my suggestion would be to leave inside the room directions on parking, restaurants and tourist attractions
