The hotel is a boutique. The welcome we had when we arrived was excellent. The next day we had a problem with the tv in our room and the owner came a sorted it out. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee fab. There is also a private locked car park We had two days here and would highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.
Cozy little hotel with decent beds and OK breakfast.. When we arrived there was no heating or power on but that was soon fixed. Never met any staff but no complaints... Hotel is located in a very quiet part of town.
Very good, comfortable, small hotel. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area some 25 minutes walking distance from the train station and the town centre.Good breakfasts served in a pleasant room overlooking a garden. Friendly helpful staff. Reasonably priced. Recommended.
- Reception The lady at the reception was super friendly. We arrived and she was fully prepared to host our (large) group of adults. She was also very personal to the other clients. - Bedroom The bedrooms were exceptionally clean/tidy and the decorations make it look very high standard. - Sleeping We slept very good. I heard someone say that the mattress was too soft. I couldn't complain though. - Breakfast The breakfast was good, everything you'd expect. From croissants over jus to yoghurt with fresh fruit. I would eat there every day! - Bathroom Everything was great in the bathroom. Shampoo provided, Towels folded. just wow. Would you go again? Certainly yes!
I stayed here for only one night and I was sad to leave ! The welcome was very personal and friendly. They even called me on my way to ask when I would arrive, in case someone would not be there they could explain how to get in and find my room. The rooms feel new and feel really modern and are nicely decorated. The bathroom was small, but completely fine and clean. The hotel is a bit of a walk away from the center, but by car or bike it’s no problem at all! Breakfast was a highlight, freshly cooked egg still warm and perfect time! I will gladly be back next time I am in the area, I enjoyed it so much!
Finding a good hotel in Breda has always been a challenge. Even more so when this hotel was closed. So we were happy to notice it is back in service. I am not sure it is with a new management but things have even improved a bit: breakfast is much improved and the room are still great. Free WiFi is working well and the free parking is very much welcome.
This boutique hotel is quite decent. The building has a true charm. Room was a bit on the small side, and breakfast was ok. The owner was flexible and service oriented. If you look for a good place, you won't go wrong here.
I do not recommend for the following reasons; The room that cost dearly to a place this was presented to us on arrival as without a bathroom. To have a room with a bathroom, it required more EUR 50.00 making the room more expensive than a great hotel we stayed in Amsterdam. The owner was invasive person, she wanted to know where we were going to have dinner to indicate what was certainly in her interest, since she had already done the same with a family in front of us, she wanted to know what time we were going to have breakfast (for what?). At breakfast we received a small glass of orange juice and we were refused to repeat it, as the clerk only serves one per person (we paid for a full breakfast). The room had dust and did not appear to be very clean. We are disappointed to selected this place! We are now in a fantastic apart hotel in Tielt in Belgium the name Sleutelhuys.... we are very happy and will stay until next Monday! …
We were in Breda for several days for a work/pleasure trip and we picked a perfect place to stay. Suzanne and her staff were friendly and accommodating to anything we needed, and they helped us make the most of our stay in Breda. Our room was large and nicely decorated and the common areas were cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing with a coffee or a drink. The breakfast area was large and sunny (when we were there anyway!) with a lovely view over the back yard. Nice outdoor seating there too. I rented a bike two of the days (6 Euro), available at the hotel and had a lovely time biking around the countryside. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!
Stayed back in July had a lovely room with balcony staff were very helpful and friendly showing us a map of the area and where was best to eat. Free wifi Lovely continental breakfast and nothing was to much to help Recommend a stay
