Worth the money, rooms are ok and clean, breakfast is nice but big let down on dinner not a lot of options actually was 4 things on the menu (bit shocking) so must go out for dinner if staying here. Was quite convenient for us as we was visiting Antwerp and Rotterdam.
The guy working during night he is aggressive , rude and not welcome . He treat people like sheet , he is not respectful. This person should not work in customer service . He is aggressive . He told me shout up . Realax . What ?? You talk to a guest like that . So in this hotel they treat people like animals . The guy in the night he did not want to give me a bottle of water even paying . This is an horrible place . The same guy made a violation of privacy during the night came in my room , wanted to Chaco inside . ??? This place is horrible .
This hotel was booked for EV charging, food and a good nights sleep as we travel through Europe. Unfortunately we got none of it during our stay. The restaurant was closed so we could not get food here. The EV charger does not work for Teslas or international cars. So you cannot charge your car here. If you are put by a room near a lift like we were, it will keep you up all night with people coming and going and stopping outside talk. When I told reception in the morning, they sympathised but said there was nothing they could do now…They didn’t even offer us a coffee! What a very disappointing service, which is why I am putting up this review. This will be our first and last time staying at a Novotel.
This hotel is super bar ,pool , but its greatest asset is the staff .They cannot do enough to help always so friendly and make you feel so welcome .Has an amazing barman .Cant wait to use them again .This was a good find
The hotel is situated conveniently a kilometre or so from the motorway but several kilometres from the city. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed from July to September which meant having to drive to find somewhere for dinner. The rooms are a bit tired and need updating. However, the staff at reception and bar are very friendly and helpful.
The hotel sits in quiet part of the city outskirts and offers the standard Novotel quality. The check in was good and the room clean. The Internet was of good speed and easy to use. The restaurant was OK in view of the Covid times we are living in at the moment. Check out was also good.
Surprisingly good hotel, same quality as Van Der Valk or Ibis at better price. Lot of details in room like Bluetooth speaker and expandable desk available. Very good mattresses and bed, handy bedlights. Room has extra door in hallway to isolate sounds from outside. Never seen these details in other hotels before. Separate toilet and bathroom were appreciated. Nespresso coffee machine/hot water. Restaurant serves everybody's choices, friendly servants . Had best tasting Vega burger ever there.
Particularly unpleasant person on reception the evening we checked in. Knew we wanted to go to the bar for a drink but didn't tell us that the bar was closing in 10 minutes. We returned from taking bags to the room at 10.10 to be told the bar was closed. When challenged we were informed they were short-staffed. It was laughable. Wouldn't budge an inch and very rude with it. Almost enjoying the experience! The room was not particularly clean. Breakfast the next morning was poor with all the cooked food stone cold. Won't be returning anytime soon.
The lady at the reception was very kind when we arrived. We could store our luggage, as we were a bit early (check in as off 4pm). We went into town. When we came back we were told that the hotel charges extra to park your car(!) This was a weird and unpleasant surprise. Why on earth do you charge hotel guest to park on the hotels own property? It is not the amount that was disturbing, just the fact that it was so. I have never ever heard of such a ridiculous charge and if you do want to charge people to pay for parking on own property, include that in the price, as this was quite the turn-off. The rooms were a bit tiny, but quite okay if you just stay one night. The rooms were fresh and clean. You get one sachet of instant coffee per person and need to pay if you want another sachet extra. Come on staff, a bit more hospitality would not hurt. We did not made a comment on it though, as we do not believe confrontations would help. The breakfast was really nice, all the things you require and plenty of it. I would like to recommend the staff to smile every now and then. We had the feeling the staff hoped the morning is not their favorite time to work. Finally the check out went smoothly, but we were never asked if we enjoyed our stay and to me, that should be a thing to check with your guests. Summarising: The hotel is good and clean, the rooms are okay, but hospitality could be improved. I seriously hope this recommendations will help the hotel to improve, as it will upgrade your stay quite a bit.…
very nice hotel close to the motorway. However very silent in the middle of almost nothing. nice room even it is a small room. everything very clean. nice breakfast buffet where you can find everything what you need.
