Owner of the hotel met us and was very helpful and informative of the local area. He also owned the Irish bar across the road which we frequented. We were on a bike packing holiday and were allowed to keep the bikes in the hotel. Our room was really comfortable and large. Although the room faced the street we didn't get disturbed by any outside noise. Everything was clean and the shower nice and hot. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend
Stayed here for the jazz festival and was well pleased. Simple Check in,friendly staff and great location. Will definitely come back and would highly recommend. They also own a great Irish bar just across the street.
Delightful, friendly and comfortable boutique hotel close to Breda center. Super hospitable host(ess), small but modern and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, good wifi. Very steep (typically Dutch!) staircase. Lovely hotel in a beautiful city.
A small hotel in a central position in Breda. Staff super friendly and helpful, breakfast was great. Not many rooms and you need to climb stairs to get to the rooms. Bed was comfortable and room clean and everything you need for a short stay. They have some nearby parking spaces but the local large car park is not to far away. Very handy for bar restaurant area in Breda.
The room is small but it's clean. It's about 10 minutes walking to the train station. Reception can be easily reachable when they are not on-site. We had a nice chat with the owner who gave us great background and history for the town. It's a good friendly budget hotel that's efficiently run. It's close to all sights in Breda.
The food things first. Very central location, newly renovated bath and nice staff. The bad carpet in Rom and hall with horrible perfume smell feels like they try to cover an even worse smell. The mattress was covered in plastic to protect it form fluids guess. This is not nice to sleep on. Noisy room due to ventilation system just out side the window. So sleep quality was bad. The room simply is not nice to be in at all. No receptionist after last man has checked in for the day. Long story short I will find another hotel next time I am in Breda.
Expected much better for the price although the room was clean and not on the street so fairly quiet. The location is great but we couldn't get wifi in our room and the breakfast was not included, nothing special and was quite expensive at 12eur/head
This is a basic hotel. The location is good and very close to restaurants and bars. The stairs are narrow so you have to be careful when you are going up and down with your luggage. There is a free wifi however the signal was not there. Rooms are clean and tidy.
we stayed here 2 nights for a family event - we arrived late so had to pick up our key from a noisy Irish bar opposite (fair enough) but we didnt end up going in via the Hotel reception once, as the steps to the rooms lead you to a little side door. This is all well and good but left me feeling a little uneasy at night, when the security didnt fill me with much trust. The doors squeak on opening and closing and for some reason (? between the hours of 2am and 4.30am on our last night a door opposite was opening and closing every 5/10 minutes or so and kept me awake. plus points obviously location, but the place is tired and grubby and we didnt meet one hotel employee once! (bit strange) would not return, would much rather stay in a place where there is a warmer feeling and friendliness and even a welcome of some kind !…
We had some problems the first time in finding the hotel and so we arrived some time later than expected. Anyway the reception was still open. Otherwise we should have gone to the pub in order to do the check in. The room was good and even though the hotel is in the real centre our room was very quite and so we had a good sleep.
