Staff is very nice, I had a really heavy suitcase and I got help offered every time I have been there. I had a separate room and the beds were very comfortable. You obviously can't expect to much luxury from a youth hostel.

I booked a single room. Late check in was no problem. I found staf not really polite. The loud music in the morning made me skip a breakfast. If you need a cheap place to stay for a night in Groningen it's ok. But do not expect to much.

Quiet and clean hotel just 500 meters from the centre. Nice people, perfect breakfast. It's located in a nice building with a courtyard, it used to be a paint factory. Carparking in the garage wich lies underneath the hotel for € 10,-/24 hours.

The hostel is incredibly convenient but not nice. The room was huge and only had a couple of plugs to charge electronic devices. The beds were uncomfortable and the whole place was a little on the dirty side. Definitely not recommended for more than a night.

The hostel is 10 min walk to the city center, 5-10 from Groningen Noord station,15-20 from Groningen main train station, in a quiet location. The hosts are friendly and try to help out even though not very organized. I stayed in the female dormitory (18 beds): the door makes an ugly noise, the sinks just outside the door are made...

One night stay in 3 bed room "B". It was basic but clean. Choice of two temperatures in the room either cold or tropical as the radiator was either off or on full blast. Unfortunately walls are thin and when our noisy neighbours in room A went in and out in couldn't be done without slamming their door which at...

This hotel hotels perfect when you want want to visit the city. It is Very nearby the city center. The hotel is simple but clean. The bathroom is on the hallway. Breakfast is also simple but good. It is a typical dutch breakfast: bread with hagelslag etc.

I stayed in a female dorm of 16 for 5 days. Most of the travellers were international students, but there was no noise or problems. The atmosphere was relaxed both in the dorm and in the common area. I spent some time outside, sort of garden area. Helpful staff, comfy beds, clean bathrooms and showers - and good price too....

First of all I must say that most of the staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful (and funny). Given the cost of accommodation in the Netherlands, you pretty much get what you pay for. The basic price includes bed sheets but no blanket (luckily I had a sleeping bag with me). Breakfast can be purchased in the cafe but...

It was the worst hostel/hotel staff I have ever met! We were treated really bad since we got there, like we were doing a favor of staying there. Also, the breakfast was bread, cheese and milk. The location is not the best. Don't recommend the stay.
