Real homely feel. Location perfect. Room very comfy. Breakfast was beautiful.Staff extremely freindly and efficient. Nothing too much to ask. Good acces to areas for us poor smokers. All round great stay and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Absolutely lovely hotel, helpful and friendly staff, beautifully furnished and a great atmosphere. Brilliant location, the room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely be returning. It was very quiet and there is nothing that could have been improved upon.

Good hotel, with spacious rooms. Clean, comfortable beds and good bathroom. Check in and check out is efficient and friendly. The location is great, just 10 minutes from the city center. Recommended to stay here.

Staying here is like visiting my second home. The hotel is perfectly positioned in the centre of Groningen for shopping, eating out, visiting the historic buildings or just having a lazy weekend away. From the large lounge, where you can relax in front of the fireplace, to the lazy Sunday checkout that lets you leave at 17:00, this hotel is...

The hotel is located right in the City centre, no need to take your car to visit the old town. First surprise when arriving by car: there is no single place to park and unload you luggage. You will be invited to park half on the pavement… simple! The staff at the reception is efficient and the check-in is very...

I must confess we were not expecting this hotel to be very special but were already very pleasantly surprised when we checked in at the attractive foyer. Staff were very efficient and friendly - as they were throughout our stay and in all areas. The hotel is very centrally located but our room was quiet and the beds were very...

However, the wifi in my room did not work and I could not get in touch with my email or anything else. That was very annoying. Apparently...

For a weekend out we decided to book a hotel downtown Groningen. I travel quite a bit business and leisure wise and think I'm capable of judging price - quality somewhat. This said: being walking distance from city center from downtown Groningen and the need to be there would be the ONLY reason to book hotel de ville. So for...

Had a wonderful stay at the NH Hotel in the city centre. The location to the University, markets and shopping are prefect. Really enjoyed the lounge area with it's fire place each night with a glass of wine to simple take time to unwind from the day. The staff and service was excellent and everyone was very friendly.
