Exceeded expectations. Great service and fantastic breakfast with lots of choice. Right next to train station, but minimal noise and not during the night. Short walking distance to the centre, but with bars and restaurants along the way. Rooms were a good standard and quality. Great value for money, would definitely recommend for a short city break.

I am a regular guest at the hotel which is conveniently located adjacent to the Central Station. (Despite this, little or no noise from trains is heard).About 1km walk from town centre. Taxis next to hotel. Rooms are a little small, especially the single rooms which are best avoided. Rooms have recently undergone renovation and refits. The bathrooms seem to...

A nice hotel in a good location. Next door to the train and bus station and a rather large bike rack! The hotel is in a modern part of town and within easy walking distance of lots of restaurants. The hotel rooms were fine; clean and functional. We eat breakfast there twice and it was good; self service with plenty...

We originally booked into another hotel but were disappointed and left. We found the Mercure on the www and were very pleased we did. Other than being a mere 10 mins walk to the center the staff were very welcoming, very friendly and efficient and the rooms (3 double) were excellent. 2 of us took the upgrade for 35 euros...

I think title tells the whole thing... Hotel is right next to the station and rooms are soundproofed. By walk within 6 - 7 minutes walk from the wonderful city centre of Nijmegen, oldest city of the Netherlands. Rooms are just renovated, very modern yet cozy, spotless cleanliness, breakfast has everything you need. 18 kinds of beer and good choice...

Clean and quiet rooms with double beds. No rooms for 4 people you have to reserve two rooms if you have four people. Breakfast is pretty good. Don't worry about the train station being so close the trains are very quiet and I could never hear one of them. Bike rental is only six dollars per day

The pros: Very convenient location for train users right at the main station; Friendly staff. The cons: Decoration and installations a little dated, room was not cleaned well, a little pricey for what is offered. Especially the breakfast appears not to be priced well at 18 Euros.

1st time to this hotel and very pleasantly surprised. Staff were really pleasant and proactively helpful. The hotel is a typical Mercure hotel but we'll managed and clean. I arrived late so took my chances eating food in the restaurant. I was really surprised by the quality. The soup was great and the pork fillet with asparagus was great. The...

Dear Paul, Thank you for your kind and positive words. It is great to read we were able to surprise you with our personal service and good dishes. Schiphol is easy reachable by train, but maybe flying through Dusseldorf Airport, Weeze Airport or Eindhoven Airport is possible too? These are also very easy to reach from Nijmegen. We look forward...
