Everything about this place was excellent. It's like a lovely small hotel with a very good restaurant and a fabulous breakfast. The interior decorations are exceptional. The proprietor used stuff from the hedgerows while we were there - cow parsley - to display.

Such a charming village so close to Stow on the Wold. The Fox has been beautifully designed with such charm. The food is delicious and the service so relaxed and welcoming. Best of all they don't mind our dogs settling underneath our table whilst we enjoy a really delicious lunch. Wonderful.

Visited the Fox from a family recommendation. We were able to book a table about a week previous for a busy Saturday night and got a nice table. The decor and look of the Fox is very pretty and in good taste. However we were greeted by a young lady with bright blonde hair who was not welcoming and we...

Now being run solely by Graham Wiliams (former general manager of the Wild Rabbit) he's got a steady experienced hand on this delightful dining pub in the charming village of Lower Oddington. If anyone can make a success of this village inn he can. Its always had everything going for it, location, looks and charm. We always go for the...

14 of us celebrated a joint 50th birthday lunch here yesterday. The food was delicious and I was bowled over by the total professionalism of all the staff. They looked after us so well, thank you to George and his team for making our day so very special.

Unbelievably grumpy mine host on New Years Day - distinctly unwelcoming, not a smile to be had, everything too much trouble, refused to put heating on or light fire when we first arrived (although eventually did so when others arrived and commented). Good food as always and usually a choice option to meet up with friends but will think twice...

We thought the Fox Inn was delightful. The lady behind the bar was really helpful and recommended a delicious ale to try. We sat outside on the terrace and rested our legs after a tough hill climb! We didn't stay at the hotel unfortunately, but the inn looked beautiful and the staff were great.

We decided to spend a weekend at this wonderful country inn having had a great Sunday lunch here previously. The rooms were comfortable and clean and very quiet. Delicious breakfast with a delicious selection of fresh fruit and fresh croissants. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a base for a Cotswolds break.

We live locally and on this occasion were here with friends for Sunday lunch. We had a lovely table and the food passing by looked very good. Unfortunately we had a bit of a mixed experience. To start with the positive, 3 of us had the plaice which was very tasty indeed and a good size portion so no complaints...
