Lovely spot for a chilled out few days. Easy walk to shops for food etc...clean place and lovely staff. Also it is right on the beach, with its own private access. The kitchen has everything you need for self catering and also free tea and coffee facilities. There is also a lovely shower and free WiFi too.

We heard the owner had died and left this place to his wife. Sad as it has gone to ruin. Our pillowcase had been rat chewed, the linen threadbare and discoloured. The room, next to the parking area, was littered with dead insects and dust balls. The lodge was filled with workers from a nearby construction site and my daughter...

Perfect if you're looking for just a bed and a shower and the Best part is that it is literally on the beach. Pack Mosquito spray and two prong plugs for the fans. Some general maintenance is needed but it's still a great place to chill and relax.

This hotel/backpackers is really cool!!! They have even some bungalows with private beds and bathrooms, directly at the beach. The price is totally ok!! The host, John is such a nice guy. We had a really good time there with him and his friends

Stayed at this backpackers for 2 nights, as a stopover to break a long journey from St Lucia to Coffee Bay. The first night, a Saturday, was very busy with an off-road motor bike group occupying most rooms and dorms. All we could get was the en-suite cabin. Although a bit noisy from the group but not unruly, the waves...

THIS IS A GOOD PLACE TO STAY IF YOU ARE A BACKPACKERS. This is close to the beach and in quite a nice location. You have dorms or pivate bedrooms. You can cook yourself and even do a bbq. Hepful guys upthere.

The Spot is right on a very good swimming beach with shark nets and a sheltered snorkelling rock pool a little way off. The local dive centers are very close, so this is a good base for diving Aliwal Shoal, the Sardine Run etc. Edith provided some friendly conversation around the bar too.

In this place almost everything is broken. There seems to be no one who is interested to keep this place in shape. Fans are broken, which makes the rooms horrible in a summer night. Lots of Moskitos which can not be battled with electric moskito plug and repellent. A moskito net would help. There is urine smell while taking a...

Arrived 9th of January, drove all the way from the Drakensberg. When we got there we got a designated camping spot very close to the sea. We actually fell asleep listening to the breaking waves, which was really nice. Bathroom and kitchen facilities were average. They have free wifi and offer diner for R50 and breakfast for R40. Diner is...

First i was a little scared because it had a few negative comments at TripAdvisor but the staff changed and we had soo much fun there. The Backpackers directly in front of the Beach! The view is amazing. I can only revommend this place. We...
