While visiting Port Shepstone for a work conference/missions trip,we stayed at this lovely home. The staff were attentive and gracious hosts. The rooms are very comfortable and the view is amazing. I was able to walk down to the beach and enjoy the beautiful landscape every morning. Breakfast was very good. Highly recommend this B&B to everyone!!!

A comfortable place to stop on a long road trip. Our room was not fancy, in fact well worn, but we had a balcony, with a lovely view, facing the Indian Ocean. The view of tge ocean and the sunrise and sunset us well worth the rating for this B&B. The sound of the waves crashing on the shoreline was...

We stayed here for two nights in early October 2012. Fantastic location, we were watching whales from our balcony window. The owner Rob was welcoming, but unobtrusive. The establishment has a very nice relaxing ambiance. Breakfast was a pleasure, the only drawback was the poor weather, otherwise we'd have taken the opportunity to use the beachside garden.

Me and my husband stayed here for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The place itself is absolutely stunning, right on the beach, stunning garden and the rooms were nice. Our main issue with this place is that we really weren't made to feel welcome. Breakfast was also a little disappointing. You pay for the location and view -...

We stayed at La Providence at the beginning of December. It is in a perfect location, right on the beach, in a quiet road. The house and rooms are beautiful, with everything designed for comfort. Rob, the owner, is extremely pleasant and helpful in an unobtrusive way. He cooks delicious breakfasts! A really lovely place to stay, even if, like...
