It gets even better! On my last trip I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms on the top floor. Everything else was super as before, but I now enjoyed the comfort of a room that would have exceeded the standard in top hotels that charge twice the price of this one. I was tempted not to write this...

Our first experience at this hotel exceeded our expectations. It's located within walking distance from downtown, the room was fairly small as was the bathroom but everything was tidy, good mattresses, and with the room overlooking very quiet Caecilienstrasse, we were able to sleep with the window open. Breakfast spread was ample though not very inspiring but the coffee was...

Warm Swiss greeting by chocolate and self service coffee & tea & grapefruit juice in the hotel lobby . About 10 minutes walk to reach the city center and historical area of zurich . The breakfast is good and complete and the restaurant area was quite and romantic. Our room on the 2nd floor was great because it was at...

The front desk staff--Bjorn, Maggie and Eduardo-- went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and convenient~ every request was met with friendliness and prompt resolution. The rooms were clean and well appointed (some rooms with fridge, some with bathroom en suite) and the shared kitchen on every floor was a great feature-- not only a fridge (with lockable...

I stayed with my mother and my two young daughters in the quadruple room. We rearranged the beds so that the kids wouldn't fall off during the night and I was very impressed to see the room was spotless. It is also very well insulated, which helped ease my worry about my overexcited daughters annoying other guests. The staff was...

Hotels in Zurich are incredibly expensive so don't expect to get anything for your money. We got a tiny hot room overlooking the main street, noise day and night, nothing but a fan against the suffocating heat. Pluses? OK breakfast, clean, good location. We needed to be near the U of Zurich. My advice: if you go to Zurich be...

First things first, the location is great, not only close to a tram stop but also an easy walk to the old part of Zurich and the lake. The staff is very nice and the breakfast quite ample considering this is a 2 star hotel. (nice fresh fruit and the boiling egg station was great) The room was spacious, the...

New or newly renovated hotel in the art/museum area. Tram 3 stops a half a block away so easy trip from the train station. We had double bed and two single beds with a private bath. Bathroom well laid out with separate room for toilet. Very clean. Breakfast included with fresh coffee or tea, Oatmeal/Muesli cereal, ham, cheese, juice and...

The room was clean, the service was great. Very friendly people who are willing to give you a hand if you need it! The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is small but clean, the bedroom is surprisingly spacey, so you have great room to open your suitcases and rearrange everything in them without bumping into anything. The hotel has...
