First thing to know: Zurich is expensive!! My boyfriend and I wanted to stay a night in Zurich without breaking the bank. That is why we chose the Krone. It was the cheapest hotel we could find with the best location. The location of this hotel is perfect, it is right downtown, right in the middle of everything. We booked...

I have booked this "place" because of location. it has really a great view. & I thought after night out we do not need much comfort... but I havent expect "this" condition. I wonder how they havent yet lost the licence to present themselves in the hotellerie. So when you enter the room, offensive smell of "everything" you can imagine...

This "hotel" boasts the sign "HOTEL" outside its doors.... but you MUST be aware that it is in not what you might be expecting..... to be brutally honest, it appears to be some kind of stop-shop for certain "workers-of-the-night" (impossible to get any sleep at all with the ongoing noise from various rooms around me) and substance-dealers (twice I was...

Location was the only good thing with this hotel. We had a 2,5 years old daughter with us. Her strollers weren't easy to get upstairs to the room. The elevator could not be ordered to the street level unless you asked it from reception which was in second floor. The receptionist asked us if we would like to have breakfast....

I have been many times in Zuerich. Unfortunately last time, on sep 17 2005 I have got a reservation in this one for about 100 euro. By chance I was informed that the reception is closed over night. Furthermore, after my arrival, I noticed that my room was wthout toilet and shower. The day after when I asked for the...

In our reservation we told the hotel we would arrive after 11pm. When we arrived at the hotel the door was closed. After another guest let us in we found out the reception was closed as well. The next morning we went to the hotel and I was told we had to pay for the night they were closed and...

This hotel is more like a hostel, however it is not at par with hostels that I have stayed in before. Washrooms are shared among everyone on the floor as are the showers. The showers do not drain effectively therefore you end up standing in a bathtub of dirty water as you shower. The room was not clean, especially the...

I arrived in Zurich after a delayed flight late at night. After arguing with a taxi driver who didn't know where Hotel Krone Limmatquai was, I ended up getting to the hotel by 11.30. I tried the door but it was shut. The lights were off and there was no bell. My phone didn't work so I had to wander...

This is a hotel in central downtown Zurich, ten minutes from the main train station and most of the major attractions in Zurich. It doesn't have a bar or restaurant (except in the morning), and the bathrooms and showers are shared among everyone on a floor. I have stayed here four times and the rooms are always basic, functional, and...
