Wonderful rooms and interior. Modern and chic yet maintains a quaint and charming feeling. Service is absolutely wonderful! Even though the gym was under renovation when I stayed there, the concierge offered a day pass for a nearby fitness center for 20 swiss franks per day. The Altstadt, where the Widder is located, is a quiet and secluded area that...

Yet again I have had the pleasure of staying at the Widder. It is situated in the middle of Zürich but in a very quiet street. The hotel was created from a number of old houses and the combination of traditional and modern works very well indeed. Unlike so many modern hotels the rooms are all different - size and...

This is probably the most wonderful hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms and the hotel itself are beautiful. The staff is attentive and extremely helpful. The hotel is located very centrally for shopping and restaurants. I will definitely stay here again. It is expensive but in my view well worth it!

Nice hotel, well situated in the city-center of Zurich. Undergoing some refurbishment - not indicated on the site of the hotel. I spent the weekend there with my GF. The service: Really polite, professional. I had a problem with my Credit Card at checkin. It was well handled. Room: We had a suite. Did not know I had booked a...

Amazing place to stay! The staff at this hotel could not be more helpful and friendly! The room was quite frankly one of the best rooms IV stayed in! Hotel very clean and modern! Breakfast was included in the price no hidden costs! Worth every penny! I only wish I had longer in Switzerland! Will 100% visit this hotel again!...

The Widder is strikingly gorgeous, historically interesting and in a wonderful location for exploring the shopping areas and the old town. It is pricey, but a worthy splurge. The service was excellent. The rooms were elegant and interesting with every amenity and modern convenience. Highly recommend.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Widder August 2014. It is a small luxury hotel in beautifully renovated houses nicely located in the old part of the city. It has a very friendly, accommodative staff, particularly concierge, Stephan. Our room was large and very comfortable with every high-tech gadget imaginable--e.g., very comfortable king bed that operated like...

We were fortunate enough to stay at the Widder for 2 nights. The hotel itself is probably the most unique layouts I have ever seen. Everything down to the elevator just makes you smile. The actual room was perfect in everyway. At turn down service, they noticed that I take sparkling water and my boyfriend takes flat, so they had...

The Widder is a great example of Switzerland at its best. Service is flawless. Efficient and anticipating your needs in a manner that is friendly but never intrusive. The location just off the Bahnhofstrasse is perfect for business or leisure. The hotel itself is a gem, set in a series of historical town homes that have been merged together with...

Spent three nights at the Widder. It is a simply wonderful small hotel with remarkable rooms and situated in a particularly strategic location in the middle of Zurich's Old Town. Breakfast was served in a beautiful atrium and the staff couldn't be more accommodating.
