The hotel is located 2 short blocks from the main train station so getting to and from the airport was simple and fast. Many tram stops are located here too. The hotel is located just off Bahnhoffstrasse, the main shopping avenue and in the "old town". Museums are a short walk, as well as many restaurants. Very quiet hotel with...

The hotel was boutique but most unprepossessing and no air conditioning on what was a rather warm day. I still cannot get over that we are paying, $A400, for a room like this – amazing. The reception was on the top floor which took some working out and there was no night reception. Swiss hotels are struggling with climate change...

Location was perfect, right in the middle of it all (shops, restaurants, lake and station). Just a 5mn walk from the Urania parking which is great if you are driving. Same for the train station. It has an old country-like feel to it with a touch of German antique-esk look. Quite eclectic. If it were a song, it would be...

Very nice and friendly hotel 100m from the train station on a pedestrian alley with bars and coffee shops. The hotel provide a very homey environment The hotel resides in 3 floors of a 5 floors building. I was staying on the 1st floor facing the street and it was quiet. Room was nice, without a tv but with a...

Zurich is winter, especially before the snow begins to fall, can be a rather gloomy place - unless you are a banker, tax avoider or oligarch. For the rest of us Zurich is expensive with a narrow choice of good affordable accommodation. Having done my homework I settled on the Townhouse Hotel. It ticked all the boxes and I was...

We spent two nights at the Townhouse Boutique Hotel, perfectly located just one block away from the Zurich Bahnhof (station) and a few steps away from the main Bahnhofstrasse. We had excellent access to all the central Zurich city attractions, including some good restaurants and their great shops, which had their January sales in progress! The hotel has very attractive...

I needed an inexpensive hotel to stay for the night before getting some shopping done and heading to Lucerne and this was perfect. It's a block from the train station, literally steps from the Bahnhofstrasse and all its stores, you can't really get any better. Check in was very easy and my room was pretty colorful and well appointed. Clean...

This hotel is a 2 minute walk from the main station, and very close to the charming shopping streets of Zurich. We were upgraded to a large room on arrival, and while we only stayed one night so contact was minimal, staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. The hotel has an honesty bar in the very sweet 'living room'...

Pros: The location is great. Near the train station and main thoroughfare. The rooms are clean enough. For the price, it was a good value, but I think if you can afford another 50 bucks, you should upgrade to a different hotel. Cons: The halls echo and when lovely drunk people come in, everybody can hear it. The cleaning person...
