Great find and will be coming back. The proximity to trams, the train station and walkable sites is unbeatable for the price. Nice European breakfast and had a great dinner here on the patio. Friendly, professional staff. The rooms are a efficient but very comfortable, great shower and thankful for the air conditioning during a summer heat wave.
A very good experience in this small boutique hotel. First plus ; so tastefully decorated and curated. And a room at the 4th floor is a must, view on the river and the city Second plus : location…just perfect next to the Sihlbrücke And the other pluses: staff, restaurant, cleanliness
The hotel was very clean and stylish. It was also in the perfect location. The staff were helpful and courteous too and also gave us a map and some useful recommendations as well. I would stay there again anytime.
Good things: The hotel in very close to the train station. The rooms are big, clean, modern and the bed was really confortable. Only bad thing was the noise. For me was no problem because I sleep with earplugs. The people at the reception are very nice, we had to call in the evening because we forgot the password to enter and they answered right away.
Amazing hotel in the centre of Zurich! The hotel has a great charm with the combination of the 'old' outside building and the new, modern interior. The staff is very helpful and attentive, the room was large and super clean, there are two 'public' rooms/options on the ground floor where you can work (incl. free coffee and tea), there is even a little terrace at the back of the hotel overlooking the river 'Sihl' - you feel like being in a secluded little 'paradise' in the middle of a busy city! Also, there is a restaurant inside the hotel serving great meals - lunch, dinner as well as breakfast. I will definitely consider staying at Boutique Hotel Helvetia Zurich again.
Perfect mix of nice hotel, great bar and restaurant and a good location. The service is very good. My deluxe double room was very confortable. I have stayed several time and will be back when I visit Zurich next.
Great location, close to old Town, train station, coop grocery, tram stop. Our room had lovely bath products, a fridge, and windows that actually opened. There is a nespresso machine in the library in the first floor that we used several afternoons to have a coffee after sightseeing. No real lobby, guests are given a code to enter the building for after hours when the outside door is locked.
Stayed for a quick 2 day trip into Zurich. Only about 5-10 minute walk from the train station and plenty of restaurants, and 20 or so from most attractions. Cute hotel and nice hospitality overall. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious but pricey (par for the city). Our room did not have AC, but cooled quickly in the evenings with the windows open, and the hotel toiletry items smelled incredible.
Very nice place, really clean, quiet, wonderful interior design, warm welcome from the reception ... much more friendly than any other spots. Don't forget to stop for a breakfast, the restaurant is at the same level!
The trip that we had was short but never the less pleasant, also due to the hotel that we stayed in. The hotel was very nice, the staff is also very pleasant and nice. Without any doubt the next time we will be in town we will stay there.
