It is really a nice place in the center of the city. I stayed here with my friends for three days and truly enjoyed a lot. Rooms had everything we needed - all luxurious amenities, comfortable bed and great bathroom. Food was lovely and staff - superb. Highly recommended.

OK here is what I wanted to know that none of the reviews actually said: - The hotel is about a 10 minute walk or 5 minute ski-bus ride to either the gondola or the train that takes you from downtown Zermatt to the mountain. It really is not biggie to walk, especially since the buses are sometimes full and...

Stayed for a ski holiday with 2 family members on a peak week in February. The room was a little tight with the extra bed, but well appointed and clean. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was basic bread, rolls, yogurt, cheese, granola, cereal, plus hard/soft boiled eggs. Hotel includes a convenient ski room with boot dryer/warmer....

I would highly recommend the Matterhornblick. The staff makes your stay so welcoming. It's in a great location for skiing and exploring the village. They have a nice spa for after skiing or hiking. The breakfast was delicious, too.

Hotel Matterhornblick is a very nice hotel located in central Zermatt, very close to the downtown restaurants/bars and ski lifts. The rooms are very clean and the staff are friendly - always willing to help you in any way they can. The breakfast is also very good. I highly recommend a stay at the Matterhornblick when you are in Zermatt.

We booked this hotel at the very last minute - 3 days in advance in fact - and paid CHF 260.00 for our one night stay; this price included breakfast too. This was for a double room with an en-suite bathroom and balcony (beautiful view from our balcony of the Matterhorn). We stayed in room 201 and can therefore only...

My family and I stayed at the Apartment for 4 at Chalet Ritz (annex to Matterhornblick). It was a clean and comfortable, with self catering facilities. We found the location to the extremely ideal, between the commercial part of the town (5mins walk), and place to embark on the Matterhorn Express (to Klein Matterhorn) (110-15 mins walk, depending on whether...

The matterhornblick was recommended by friends who stayed here a year ago. What a charming hotel. Very up-to-date without losing the friendly Swiss feeling! The room is clean, a good size, with a balcony. Staff are very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. Spa adds a nice touch. Great breakfast with a large menu selection. Good coffee. Lobby area has...

This hotel is located near the centre of Zermatt but not so near as to be disturbed by noise from people leaving restaurants and bars at night. The rooms in the hotel have been recently renovated and have a light, modern chalet style. Our rooms had balconies, one room had a view over the river, and the old cemetery and...

Really nice & spacious rooms which must all have been renovated a couple of years ago. Rooms were very clean, and hotel staff really nice. Not the biggest breakfast, but since we only stayed for two nights, wasn't a problem. Hotel is located in the heart of Zermatt, just about a 3min walk to the bus station which takes you...
