We stayed here for 3 nights. As for location you can't get more central. It's also quiet, although they were doing some work on the road beneath us, but only during the day so didn't trouble us. Parking isn't included but is very convenient and reasonably priced in the Motta car park (literally 1 min walk away). The restaurant at...

We stayed one night in Hotel Gabbani, Lugano. Lugano is such beauty! Breathtaking and so fresh in atmosphere. Lugano is a must stop and gateway to Switzerland, if you wish to visit a small town which is so near to Milan i.e. 1hr plus of train journey. We arrived at noon and according to the map and some helpful assistance...

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. The staff were super friendly - we were arriving late in the evening and they called us to instruct us how to get in and gave us all the relevant information. The hotel is in the pedestrian zone but there is a car park a 3 minute walk from the entrance...

This is a very modern, clean hotel in a wonderful centrally located Lugano location. The service was excellent. It is a good idea to inquire about parking in advance as the garage nearby was fairly full. It would also be helpful to have an international news network such as CNN vs only local, non English stations

Interesting hotel, a combination of house, hotel, bakery, restaurant, wine house, all at the same time. Recently stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel is located in the heart of the town and everything is close and strategically located. Check in is nice and fast. Room was sort of a modern hype design. A bit worn out floor and nothing...

It took us a while to find the hotel because the entrance looked as if it were partially blocked by a building site. Then, to check in, we walked through a restaurant to a lift. And all this after discovering that the handy funicular from the station was being renovated, and it was necessary to catch a replacement bus -...

My partner and 10yo son stayed at Hotel Gabbani for 5 nights in June 2016. I actually cannot fault this hotel, the staff or the service. Our room was modern and split level with a balcony on the lower level overlooking a quaint pedestrian side street. The staff had set up a single bed on the lower level for our...

Third time here and it is still great. A boutique hotel with beautifully designed rooms. The bar restaurant cafe on the ground floor offers great food, cocktails and snacks. Rooms are spacious and best of all pillows and bed are comfortable. Not the cheapest of hotels, mid to high, but worth it. We can feel our troubles melt away once...

Hotel Gabbani is located in a little piazza in the historical center of Lugano. Don't let looks deceive you; you start off in a restaurant; go to the back and take the elevator up to reception. You've now entered a chic, beautifully designed and appointed small hotel. The staff are warm and welcoming, ready to answer any questions you may...

We loved the Hotel Gabbani for it's location, it's friendly, helpful staff, and cleanliness. The room décor is very modern, chic, spacious, and comfortable. The décor of the entire hotel is a designer's dream come true. The staff was always available to help us plan our days, and to suggest restaurants etc. This made a wonderful trip even better. The...

“We stayed in the Orange room. Very quiet. The single chair in the corner is too low to use at the desk for writing - there are several public areas, but no place to sit and write.”

“Both ours and my mother in laws rooms were fantastic. For kids - we took the Rosa suite, complicated to explain, but basically, the 2 door entry system enabled us to eat downstairs with the 2nd door open (1st door locked securely) so that our kids could still call us and we could hear them when they called us...while we ate in peaced 2 floors down in the restaurant!”
