great location, nice surprising breakfast. room service excellent, they care a few times a day to keep it clean. you might hear the breakfast people in summertime if you have a room to the inside garden. bistrot service italian style but it's weekend, let's relax. nice people though and friendly.

Walking through the city of Locarno, enjoying the small streets in the old part, we found this well hidden pearl: art combined with great hospitality. A simple and short menue - and what is offered is as simple but excellent. A fantastic atmosphere in the innergarden with mediteranean plants - a place for contemplation in the middle of a busy...

One of the best weekend! Love the atmosphere and delicious breakfast. Every room has his charm and every single one is different. Fantastic people, fantastic place. Was totally surprised that we can find a place like that in the middle of the city.

We had 2 nights in lovely Locarno and one of the highlights was our accommodation at Caffe dell'Arte. The room was fresh, clean and beautifully furnished while the bathroom was one of the best we have had in this type of accommodation (NOT large hotel). Breakfast was to die for , so extravagant we had to jump in quickly on...

We were disappointed because no dogs allowed even there was a huge dog in the breakfeast room in the morning. So we had to leave our little dog in the car.I found the bathroom a bit too small. ... But well equipped. The room was also small but very nice decorated. The breakfast was indeed a unique experience of excellence!...

Caffe' dell'Arte is a simply charming boutique B&B with very original zany decor and a friendly relaxing atmosphere. A perfect spot for a romantic get-away if you seek a total contrast to business hotels or impersonal hotel chains...but don't rely on communicating in English; we managed with French & German and have vowed to learn Italian. A wonderful feast of...

The B&B is on the nice location in the old town, the people are kind, rooms are spacious and the best part - at least for us - was breakfast. Not buffet, but continental. We did not expect much, but what a surprise - served in style, excellent choice of everything, aestethically perfect, you don't get something like this even...

“for couples who prefer a bigger room, with a little balcony, you should ask for the room called 'poesia d'amore'. if you prefer a simple small room, because you mostly will spend time outside then the cheaper and smaller room called 'come nelle favole' is sufficient.”

“Only 2 of the 7 rooms have a balcony. These face the courtyard (perhaps quieter) & should have a pleasing view across rooftops towards Piazza Grande”
