Run by the Degiacomi pronounced "jackomi" family, this hotel is a traditional Swiss Hotel which is approx. 150 years old with an open fireplace to greet the guests. The food in the downstairs restaurant was very acceptable. The views from the room in the crows nest were spectacular and everything was very pleasant with a large bathroom and plenty of...

This place is on the edge of St Moritz so you can easily walk into the center. The hotel is a bit older and a family business but people are very friendly and the rooms are spacious and very clean. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, which is convenient if you come here without a car....

We recently stayed at this hotel while on a coach tour. It's located high up on a hill but quite a distance from restaurants. The room(301) was spacious and nicely decorated. There was a small balcony with two chairs that would be pleasant to sit, with a view of the mountains. If they just replaced the bed they would deserve...

Well here we are in St. Moritz. What a view and the hotel is quite nice . You will find that meals ( well everything ) is quite high . So tipping isn't a priority . The bed was really low to the floor which makes it difficult for an old fogey like me and the shower was the typical...

We stayed here for 2 nights during a rail tour of Switzerland. It is about 15 minutes walk uphill from the railway station. The same family have run this hotel for over 100 years and it is deceptively large being situated on the edge of town opposite the Cresta Run clubhouse. It is about 7 or 8 minutes from the main...

This is a great hotel with heart. It seems like a small bed and breakfast (or at least a small hotel) when first going in there, but once you are there a while, you realize it's much bigger than expected. My small room (for one person) had lots of storage. Very clean. It's about 10 minutes from downtown (and maybe...

St Moritz does not cater to summer tourists particularly well, and comes across like so many other towns that cater to the ski market as a being a bit dour in the summer time. The hotel is fairly old and has character, somewhere for our party of motorcyclists to stop the night, enjoy a reasonable dinner then breakfast, before moving...

I stayed at this hotel while visiting on a group tour. I love how this hotel is close to everything. You can walk down a hill in about 10 minutes to catch a train to Diavolezza and Muottas Muragl. You can walk down the street towards the Kulm hotel and Trojan Horse. Then follow the path down to the train...

This is a very rustic and beautiful hotel. Lots of wood in the hotel decor. We used to live in Whistler, B.C. and the hotel and St Moritz both reminded us of the beautiful mountain resort. Rooms are small but that's all part of the charm. Friendly staff and OK Internet. Also a pool! And easy to walk to the...

“The famous Swiss train the Glacier Express, from Chur, is one way to arrive there. In fact it's the best as the train is in itself an engineering marvel winding, corkscrew fashion as it does, through tunnels and across deep chasams across stone bridges. There is no bad room.”
