We wanted to enjoy a few days away from the crowds in this beautiful boutique hotel. Even though the house is very nice, facilities are good and rooms are authentic, the service was extremely poor. We felt short-changed on so many accounts in 4 days: - Staff couldn’t get home quick enough: We arrived around 8pm, which was too late...

A charming hotel with very lovely and helpful staff surrounded by a beautiful scenery. The rooms are comfy and the restaurants exceptional. We had a wonderful stay with an old friend and we will definitively return soon =)

ideal solution for the combination arriving by car or train, going out by public transportation, short and long walks in the nature and last but not least spend some good time at the restaurants in the hotel !

We have stayed at this charming and cosy Hotel for several years, always in winter. The rooms are not large but large enough and very cosy. Staff are friendly and efficient. The Manager is young and smiley. There are now three restaurants to choose from and the menu is slowly being enlarged, now including vegetarian dishes and catering for the...

I stayed here for 2 weeks whilst snowboarding and eating my way through their restaurant. Staff were very accommodating to all my requests and the afternoon tea is a nice touch that makes it feel homely.

having dinner at one of the restaurant (Uondas) we just had a great evening. In the old typical architectural regional house you enter a total new and well designed retaurant but fitting well into the old part. If looking at the menu card, just great, if asking for the specials of the day, even fantastic. Alle employees seems highly motivated...

We have been in Uondas for dinner, it's one of the most famous meat restaurant in this area. The aged veal chops are good to excellent but far too expensive. For a couple you need to count 200 CHF including an average wine by the glass and salad to start with. Lot's of families with young children if you go...

Good selection of meats and cuts, own dried aged beef, a very cool menu and a nice restaurant decor! Staff is very friendly and professional. But expect a fat bill in the end... I know meat is expensive in Switzerland but they really abuse on the meat prices...

Excellent food and service in a Hotel with 500 years of history. Situated in a beautiful village surrounded by mountains. The Venison and blue cabbage Lunch special was fabulous and it came with a wonderful broth and egg soup and a succulent apple crisp dessert , all for 19CH. Milena provided outstanding service and advised us of many things around...

I've had the chance to stay at the Chesa Rosatsch several times. And not once was I disappointed in anything at all. They have a great casual dining restaurant, offering a great selection of meat and flamenkueche and other specialties. The food is exquisite ! Sometimes I think I even want to come here only for the food. There is...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome The Hotel Chesa Rosatsch in Celerina is constantly gaining more friends, as it perfectly unites what guests love when they decide to spend vacations in the Upper Engadine. Hidden in the center of a world famous village, directly on the equally well known Inn River with an offer that leaves no wishes unanswered. As they work the hosts are mindful of the values which are highly appreciated by the guests: Authenticity and a guest-friendly ambience which amaze and create excitement. Each of the 37 rooms in the three historic houses and the ”Chesa al Flüm”, which has been added in 1996, is individually designed. Indigenous materials and love for details create a great sense of well-being. Small house – great kitchen! The restaurant “Uondas” and the restaurant “Stüvas Rosatsch” are receiving great praise from guests and reviewers alike. Home matured Engadine “madürà-meat” or surprising creations which are in accord with the principles of slow food – the choice is yours. Everything that is necessary to be all around happy. Small wellness, lounge with a fireplace and the InnBAR with smoker’s corner. An hommage to the U.S. “Speak Easy” – Bars during the prohibition of the 1920 and 1930. ... more   less
