We have visited with the Family Staehli-vonAllmen at their wonderful hotel for three years now and cannot say enough about their service, staff and food. It is always a delight to arrive and very difficult to leave. The remodeled rooms are charming, and comfortable, the public areas and especially the deck are relaxing and what a view! A balcony room...

Fantastic service. The staff is very friendly and you're treated like a friend. Everyone was quick to recognize us and greet us whenever we ran across a staff member. We felt truly welcome at this hotel. Compared to a number of other rooms we stayed at in Switzerland and Northern Italy, we found the bed at the Eiger to be...

We stayed at the Hotel Eiger in Murren June 26th thru June 29th. It is located directly across the street from the train station. We were met at the train by a porter who took our luggage as soon as we got off the train and he placed it in our room. The hotel staff at the Eiger were so...

My wife and I recently spent a few days in Murren while on a hiking excursion in the Alps. We booked a room at the Hotel Eiger and were extremely pleased with the choice. We reserved a superior room....with a truly outstanding view of the Eiger Mountain in the foreground....and were not disappointed. All of the staff was helpful and...

My husband took me for my first skiing holiday this year along with our 5 year old son. To ensure the trip was memorable for all the right reasons he chose the Eiger hotel in Murren. This hotel is special and has been owned and run by the same family since it opened I the late 1800's. From the moment...

Staying at the Hotel Eiger for three nights was a highlight of our 18 night trip through Austria, Germany and Switzerland! We chose to stay in a room with a balcony overlooking the snow-capped Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains. The panoramic views were incredible! We were met at the train station directly across the street by Leonel, who graciously delivered...

Murren is a lovely town and Hotel Eiger a great place to stay. The staff should be considered one of the top reasons to stay, and they are competing for that status with the beautiful, right out your window view of the very prominent Swiss Alps including Eiger and Jungfrau. The accommodations were also very nice and the breakfast buffet...

The family that owns this hotel bring such a high level of service to this small town of 300 residents. We stayed in Murren 30 years ago and came back this week for a three night stay in Suite 618 with our family. Their website has much better pictures of the rooms than I could take and they are truly...

My wife and I stayed here recently have been recommended a night in Murren as part of a long weekend in Zurich. We had to take a few trains/cable cars to get here (5 in all), but it was well worth the effort. We had a balcony room with a view of the Eiger and Jungfrau, which was spectacular. The...
