We arrived in Interlaken via the train which was literally a matter of a few hundred yards away from the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel itself was immaculately clean. Our room was very big and there were tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was also large with plenty of toiletries if they were needed. We stayed for two nights and ate each day in the on site restaurant. The staff were yet again amazing. The waiter, Marinos, talked through the menu with us. He was very friendly and we found him to be helpful even though his English wasn't as good as other members of staff. But that didn't matter as he made us feel so welcome. We had a wonderful couple of days at this hotel and will definitely be back again.

Hotel is conveniently located - 3 mins walk from Interlaken West station, 20 mins walk from Interlaken Ost station (or you can hop on the train from Interlaken West, it takes 1 min to get to Interlaken Ost).
Lots of restaurants within 10 mins walking distance. The inclusive buffet breakfast has very good variety of hot and cold food & drinks selections.
The room was spacious and clean. We were on the top floor with a beautiful view of the mountains.
The best part of the hotel is its customer service. From the moment we arrived to the time to leave, we were greeted with friendly and helpful services. In particular, after I left Interlaken, I realised I've left my glasses in the hotel room. Andrea and Raffaella at the reception could not be more helpful in locating my glasses with housekeeping, and posting it to me, all while keeping me up to date constantly. I'm very grateful for their help.

The main selling points of this hotel are the incredible staff that they have. Rafaella and Marinos (sp) were professional, courteous, and The location of this hotel is ideal, they offer a large selection of toiletries in your room, and breakfast is included. Breakfast is pretty basic buffet style. The resident hotel cat is friendly.
The hotel itself is obviously very old. And although they discussed renovations, it has since taken wear and if you are expecting a true, four or five star hotel, you will be disappointed. You cannot control the temperature in your room and if you are sensitive to artificial heat that can be annoying. Because the hotel is very old the floors make a lot of noise, if you sleep light book a higher floor.

Fast and easy check in. Clean and spacious rooms. Superb location in the heart of the Interlaken. They welcome and provide bowls and blanket to pets with a fair additional fee. The staff was reactive and did its best to respond to special requests prior and during our stay.

I originally was going to stay at hotel central continental, but when it came to booking the room the availability was limited and the price was more than I originally expected. But, I am so glad that I found here instead. The hotel itself was clean and had the history of the place posted which was interesting. The restaurant food was very nice, but I would maybe change the seat covers as each one I sat on was a bit dirty. My room was perfect, enough space and had all the amenities you'd need. The staff were what made the trip. Each person I met was as if they'd know me for years already, especially Pauline. She was so helpful, she knew everything about the area and she would greet me and say goodbye every single time I'd come in and out. In the evenings I didn't have much to do so decided to go down to reception and chat with everyone and that became a regular thing and they just accepted me as one of them. It made me feel so welcomed and included and I've now got a new friend that I'd never have met originally. Overall, the place is great for families and solo travellers, like myself, and I would recommend staying here. Who knows, I might even be back at some point.

The hotel staff was super friendly and kind. The room was fantastic, with embordered pillows and slippers that said "Hotel Krebs" and really spacious for the room. The restaurant was excellent for dinner and their breakfast was really good. Breakfast starts at 7am, but they even prepared me a box breakfast at 6:30am so I could leave early to get in as much snowboarding as possible for the day. The price was on the high side of the average from the other hotels, but I think well worth the cost for the food, service and room that you are provided.

Situated in the center of town, this historic hotel has an old world charm with all the modern amenities. There is ample tourist shopping and restaurants just footsteps away. The staff is super friendly and speaks English well. There is a restaurant in the hotel that offers a 10% discount on meals for hotel guests. I don’t think I’ve slept in a more comfortable bed. The TV stations offer channels in English, French, German and Italian including kids shows. There is an elevator as well which oftentimes in European hotels is not available. Parking is on site for a daily fee.

The hotel staff is helpful and friendly. From reception, the restaurant staff and chambermaids are awesome. Good Job! Keep up the good job. Got a room with a good view and cleanliness is tip top. The location of the hotel is just a 5-minute walk to the Interlaken West train station.

The property is located at a convenient 5-minute walk from the Interlaken OST train station and has all the major facilities like an in-house restro-bar, a very helpful concierge desk, and is walkable from a ton of other places to eat and see including paragliding.
The hotel staff also helped us with a free public pass to use all of the public transport in and around the area for free (though we never used it since we already had bought a swiss pass for the complete duration of our visit)
The room sizes are average with a big french window to offer amazing views as well as ventilation. The breakfast spread was very good with a lot of hot and cold food options as well as beverages.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to explore the interlaken region as well as nearby tours like Jungfraujoch or Lauterbrunnen that are within a couple of hours via the train / bus.

We stayed for 2 nights in Interlaken and I booked the hotel for its location and also it offered twin and double rooms. We were travelling as a group of four. My wife and myself and our 2 children 18 and 12.
We had rooms that were close together on the same floor.
Check in was very easy and although our room wasn't ready we were able to leave our cases and head on out.
Interlaken is a beautiful place that offers stunning views and the hotel is located right by the train station. In fact from the train station if you look to your left you can see the roof of the hotel with the name on it, so it's very easy to find and a great location that saves dragging your cases far.
Plenty of shops and places to eat around by the hotel, including a McDonald's. The hotel does have a restaurant that's open to guests and non guests.
After a walk around we returned to the hotel to get to our rooms, the hotel rooms are a bit dated but very clean and the bathroom and amenities were adequate, staff very pleasant.
The only criticism was breakfast and how slow to replace bacon etc and fresh bread, the selection wasn't huge but offered enough choice, it was just the issue with multiple guests waiting for more hot food to be put out that impacted the breakfast experience.
Theres a supermarket right by and they do offer hot food as well as sandwiches and salad bowls all pre prepared so we did use that as well.
Overall a pleasant stay and would use this hotel again as a base for visiting Interlaken.
