Very lovely romantic hotel in an unusual place, not far from the tunnels and roads of Neuchatel but in a gorge. Very nicely transformed into a super comfortable hotel, which is full of charm. Our room was stunning and extremely comfortable, with the very nice touch of a card and some lovely chocolate in our room. Loved it, we will...

Hidden in a valley by the river, this former mill has wonderful unique rooms and a very friendly staff. The room I stayed in was of a very generous size, as was the bathroom, and it was all very comfortable. On check in, we were told that breakfast would be at 7:30 and would that be ok. As we were...

What a surprise: almost inmidst the City such a truly romantic hideaway in a wild gorge. The suite right under the Roof was awesome. With great antiques. The entire house with a lovingly arranged atmosphere. The welcome was warm and attentive. We dined in the modern glass addition of the Restaurant. Great food! A pleasure for eye and tongue. The...

Even with a satnav we had some difficulty finding this hotel as it is tucked away in a valley and surrounded by modern buildings. Once we did, however, it was worth the effort. It is a converted water mill with the stream and the mill race still ruching passed the back of the building. You can here this in the...

A lovely setting, friendly staff, good breakfast with the best in house coffee. We did not dine in the restaurant. A most enjoyable stay. Our GPS had some trouble finding this place but it was worth the effort. The surrounds were like an oasis of peace in the city.

This was such a wonderful surprise as a hotel. It was booked on my behalf and I did not know what to expect. The Maison du Prussien is a fabulous hotel. The decor is quirky and at the same time luxurious and tasteful. The rooms bring out the character of the old building while having a modern twist. The dining...

The building is beautiful with a garden full of trees and water wheels on a stream. I loved the decor of our room - it was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a flimsy curtain, which was not a problem for us but may be for some. I enjoyed breakfast with home baked...

Although difficult to find; well worth the effort for the peace , apart from the soothing sounds of the waterfall, & tranquility. Our room was a good size & well appointed. This converted historic mill offers fine dining at a price, but hey this is Switzerland, & is within easy walking distance of beautiful Neuchatel. Then you can relax with...

the hotel was really beautiful, an old mill house that has been stunningly renovated, respecting the original features, and adding a modern touch to it. The compund of the hotel is also very nice: trees, a small river that feeds the mill (which was under my window, so even with closed windows, I could hear the water, but I actually...

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a beautiful wooded setting with a running creek right nearby. The hotel also has a restaurant and a gorgeous outside terrace, perfect for relaxing and having a glass of wine, or two! Polite, efficient, kind and professional reception, and meticulous and courteous hotel staff. Would highly recommend this hotel for a romantic weekend,...
