A perfectly suitable hostel that is located close enough to the main area downtown that you could walk easily in 10-15 minutes. One downside to being so close to the water is that there are tonnes of squits (mosquitos) that sneak in your room when you leave the window open at nights. Unfortunately it is also not air conditioned leading... More

Took me 20 minutes to walk from the hostel to the train station/city. It is located near the lake (but it is a big lake). It has a cozy living room and two kitchens. Stayed in a 4-bed female dorm for a night. The mattresses were cozy and comfortable but the bed was squeaky. Hostel facilities were kept clean at... More

This is definitely one of the better hostels my fiancé and I have stayed in throughout Europe, with comfy beds and decent sized rooms. The hostel is about a 20 minute walk along the lake from the central station. 2 kitchen available to use although we only found out once we arrived you cannot use the stove tops until 12pm... More

Definitely a family hostel!! And by saying this, I mean it is not the kind party hostel that you may find in other important cities in Europe. It´s is clean, very well attended (this is a plus), with clothes washing facilities, good kitchen with cooking ammenities and common areas, so you can have your just prepared meal or hang out... I had a room on the lake front (not sure if all rooms faced the lake or not) and I love the little balcony that all rooms at the front had. I had breakfast on here every morning. I stayed here for 5 nights on holiday and regularly got trains from the main station so after walking what felt like... More

It's a nice and clean hostel to stay. There're 2 kitchens for use and you can rent towels at 1franc each. It seemed to be a place popular with Koreans, or rather Switzerland seemed to be really popular with Koreans. Booked a 2 bedded dorm and was rather surprised to have a room to ourselves. The toilets were all kept... More

We are a family of four and was our first experience in a hostel. It was clean and quiet and centrally located as well as near the lake. We prepared a few meals and kept food in the fridge and it worked out well! We had our laundry done as well which was great. The staff were helpful and pleasant.... More

We stayed in one of the private rooms at this hostel. Two people in the room. It had easy access to the train station and was in a good area of town. Hostel was very quiet. Breakfast wasn't included so we opted for the optional breakfast upstairs with the University Students. It was quite minimal and not that cheap so... More

Close walk to the main town (15 min) this hostel is a great option for those who do not want to break the bank. We stayed in a private room, the accomodations are basic but clean and nice. There is a great lake and park across the street when you want to just chill. The area was a bit buggy... More
