Stayed for a couple of nights with my husband. It's 15 minutes walk from the train station. The outside looks a little non descript but once you walk in through the automatic door, it's ok. We had booked our room online specifically asking for balcony. Rooms with shared bathrooms also available. The hotel building also houses a Business school so...

Our family (1 kid) stayed at the hotel in mid Nov 2012. We booked online. The walk from the train station was ok. Takes around 15 mins with a 6 years old kid. The location is a bit out of the old city but you can easily reached it in 5 mins. The staff was friendly. The room was clean...

We stayed in September with two children (6 & 11). This hotel sits somewhere between a hotel and a hostel and shares the building with a business school which is unusual but didn't cause us any issues. Our rooms appeared to have been recently renovated and were spacious, clean and bright. They overlooked the river and Mt Pilatus and had...

In a city (and a country) of expensive hotels, the Hotel Touring in Luzern was a comparative bargain. The good-sized double room was clean, simple, comfortable, and modern. There was free wifi, and a very nice breakfast included. The hotel is in walking distance of just about everything in town, but be prepared for some stairs if you are rolling...

This hotel is in a great location in Luzern, a 5 minute walk from the center of town. This hotel is more of a hostel than hotel but that was fine for us as it was rather inexpensive. We stayed in a twin room, which consisted of bunk beds and a sink. The room was much more hostely than portrayed...

The position oh the hotel was excellent, very close to city center, yet very quiet. Although we did not have a room with a balcony, it was better for us because the weather was very hot,and the rooms with balconies were in direct sun. Our room was on the back of the hotel, facing the ancient city walls, no sun...

Jim, the Scotsman we were welcomed by, was excellent. Friendly, helpful and chatty. Very welcoming, and pushed overall review rating up a star. The room itself was small and spartan, although did have the best pillow ever. The first morning was fine but second very noisy indeed. I noted on leaving that the other rooms looked much nicer than ours...

We got a family room as we need space for 4 people and most hotels only allow 3 in a room. The room was over Euro200, but it had a private bath and faced the river which was very pleasant. There was a patio area off our room which was nice but others mentioned it could be in use by...
