Hotel is located right at the Lake, everything is within walking distance. very nice neighborhood!. Unfortunately my company managed to make a "special"deal with the hotel and breakfast was not included, so I cant review that, but they were serving free coffee and fruits at the lobby, which was a nice gesture. staff at the reception was always friendly and...

Compared to the competition, this hotel stands out for its reasonable rates, excellent location, and a very good restaurent. Service is efficient and rooms well appointed, some with excellent views (mine was facing the river, with an easy peak at the fountain of Lake Geneva). The restaurent specializes in fresh seafood, and prices are reasonable by Geneva standards.

Good business hotel in the centre of Geneva. About a 15 walk from the main train station or 20 minutes in a taxi from the airport. Rooms are good and there are plenty of places near by to eat or drink. If you cross the foot bridge In front of the hotel there is a good bar just on the...

Got a reasonable deal via Expedia and this was a nice place. Probably not quite as upmarket as it tries to pretend but an enjoyable stay. The buffet breakfast was quite disappointing and I didn't use the restaurant for dinner. It's a shame there isn't a bar as arriving late in the evening only leaves the minibar as an expensive...

I also travel a lot for business (see review just below) and had a very different experience at the Hotel Ambassador. It is clearly a traditional style of hotel, which could seem a bit old-fashioned for some people. I had booked a superior room and was given a room on the top floor with view towards the lake. It was...

Visited Geneva for a business travel and stayed at the hotel for 4 days. Convenient from airport and city center. Nice location overlooking the lake. Hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. Would certainly love to return Cons: the Resturant menu should be more elaborative and should include more items.

I travel a lot for business and this hotel has to be one of the most depressing and disappointing hotels I have ever had to stay at. The rooms are old and dark. The staff may come across as helpful but are actually not interested in the clientele. The room is not well appointed with old furniture, and very old...

Everything was great. The rooms are well decorated and clean, free wifi, nice breakfast, very helpful staff. We stayed 2 days and we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel also offered a free transport card for the bus and tram which was very helpful.

We decided to upgrade to a Deluxe room so we could have a view over the Rhone/Lake. This was still considerably less expensive that similar hotels further up the lake. The staff on reception are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with plenty of space. This hotel is ideally situated for sightseeing and shopping on both...

We stayed 2 nights and had a fantastic experience. People at the reception are extremely kind, accommodated one additional room which we didn't book in advance (same rate as the others) helped with the baby stroller, packed all our stuff into the car before we left and always with smile and great customer service sense. Location is another great advantage...
