Booked this Hotel as our planned trip to Prague was cancelled at the eleventh hour!! Booked a Junior Suite with Balcony, online with Lastminute.com. Hotel easily found from main railway station in Geneva. Hotel ok if not a little dated, however rooms were clean and warm. Internet site did not mention the fact that the Hotel was situated in Red...

The hotel it's self is very reto very easy to get to from the rail station ideal for a short break. Our room was OK the mini bar was not stocked and there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room as stated. Even though it is situated in the red light district there is no real noise...

Avoid this hotel at all costs. It's located in a seedy, prostitute infestid area. It was noisy as hell ALL night with fights and yelling and car stereos/alarms. Then, to top it all off...upon checkout, there were all sorts of "hidden" charges! Overall, i would avoid this hotel. There are many others much much nicer for the same price.

We had a pleasant 4 day stay in November 2006 in a room on the top floor which was spacious and airy and also had a large balcony. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpfull. The hotel is situated handy for central railway staton and the lake and although it is within...

This is a very well appointed hotel for the price. The problem is that it is situated in the Red Light area and hence can be quite difficult to walk around in the evenings especially during weekends. The buffet breakfast spread is huge and comes at an extra price but I did find flies moving around.

As 60+ Americans, wife and I stayed for 2 nights late September 2006. As other reviewers have said - the rooms are smallish (but very clean) and with amenities - they were adequate. Room prices were inexpensive - for Geneva. Positive comments are: competent friendly staff; internet kiosk in lobby; 3-5 minute walk to train station/bus center; 7-8 minute walk...

Stayed here for 2 nights on business last week and despite my horror when I first read all the other reviews, I was pleasantly suprised when I checked in. It's bang in the centre of town so a perfect base for exploring, 2 mins from the lake itself and surrounded by dozens of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself was...

We stayed at the Hotel Nash Ville (known as the Tryp de Berne before July 1, 2006), located on Rue de Berne in dowtown Geneva. The hotel and accomodations were o.k., but the major problem is the location. It is indeed located in the Red Light district, on the worst and noisiest block of Rue de Berne. On Friday and...

We stayed at the Tryp Berne for a weekend away in late May. Although we had got a reasonable deal, the hotel was certainly not cheap so we were expecting decent service and a good room standard. We were to be very disappointed. No information about the hotel mentions that it is in the middle of the red light district...

My wife and I spent a long weekend in Geneva - and managed to get an incredible deal at the Tryp de Berne. Although we were quite worried after reading some of the reviews for this hotel (and almost considered paying double the price for another hotel), we decided to stick with it. As mentioned before, the main problem with...
