It is very good located, a couple of blocks away from the market and from the main square. It is not too close to the beach, but if you go in car it is less than a 5 minute trip. Also you can just get a cab to there for a couple of dollars. Has a pool with a bar...

I stayed here on business and compered to the hotel I was in the night before, it was much better, but still far from comfortable. I found the room cold and noisy, however, it was clean and staff helpful, I'd really recommend avoiding the area

I stayed there for just one night with my family. The attention was good, even though they booked us the wrong rooms and we had to sleep in different floors. The rooms were very clean and neat. The major problem was the noise! We wanted to sleep while on a roadtrip but there was noise coming from everywhere. There was...

There is nothing special here but the rooms are adequate and comfortable. The door locks are strange but do the job. The pool was drained but large although it was hard to tell what it was like. Right on the busy street where it is noisy all night so bring your ear plugs: LOTS of honking. Food in the restaurant...

Very cheap and cheerful hotel. Barranca is a noisy mess but this place is an essential place to stay if you are visiting Caral. Restaurant and café attached make it easy to avoid the intimidation of the busy streets. .

Although not noted for atmosphere, all the basics of this hotel are well done. The room was spacious and easily accommodated my belongings and suitcase. The hotel was clean. The sheets and towels were good quality. I enjoyed relaxing around the pool. Reception staff Ana and Indira were very friendly and gave me detailed directions for getting to Caral. I...

This is a clean, well-kept, not terribly modern hotel in the very busy centre of town. Our room at the back of the hotel only got a bit of traffic noise, but it seems that the ‘Hounds of the Baskerville’ have escaped their fictitious origins and reincarnated themselves in Barranca, so we did have to wear earplugs at night. Staff...

Instead of packing a Caral visit into one long, expensive day trip from Lima, me and my girlfriend went stay at Hotel Chavin in Barranca for a night before visiting Caral using a local operator the next day. Barranca itself isn't too lovely but Hotel Chavin is a decent place to stay. Service was friendly, the room clean and the...

Not much else around the region, si it's a reasonable option to visit Caral from early in the morning. The hotel is basic, but room and shower are clean and work well, even the old AA we had in our suite room. It's close to centrum of the town in a busy street and is noisy all the time. At same...
