Same as other hostels, you need to make up your bed and tidy it up when you leave. The hostel is clean and tidy. The common area is big enough for everyone to social around. The payment system of the laundry room is a bit trouble, especially after the reception count closed at night. If you take your clothes out...

As far as hostels go this was good. Stayed here for 2 nights - 4 person dorm - others were pretty quite and they had the usual amenities but no way t cook your own food which is strange for a hostel. Breakfast is included and should have had the dinner but as you learn I got a decent value...

We stayed in a 6 bed dorm in June and thought this hostel was OK. The room size was good but there was a cockroach right outside the bedroom door which did not give off a good first impression. Hostel staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a big canteen that offered meals throughout the day. This hostel had...

I spent one night here. Overall it was a great hostel. Very clean and well looked after. The only issues I had was trying to connect to the internet and some guy in my dorm room who was on his phone all night and didn't put it on silent mode so every text msg he got it was making a...

A decent good choice to stay while in Bern. Prices is expensive everywhere. So cheap accommodations are limited. This is a 10 minute walk from the train station downtown. Hostel is decent in room size. Only 1 outlet for whole room. Linen and sheets are provided. No towels. Shower toilets are separate. A plus is showers having timer for shower,...

My experience in the hostel was average.. Location - great!! Just beneath the old city! Amenities - toilet, shower and room - very modest, I expected better. Staff - made the impression of very professional (Swiss standarts). Breakfast - simple but good! I thought its a bit weird to pay 47 CHF for one night in a droms room and...

The location is very good for sights, and the breakfast is decent, but there is very limited wifi. Worst of all though is definitely the lack of air conditioning in rooms with 6 people packed in, I feel this really should be unacceptable in temperatures above 30 degrees. I found it very difficult to sleep because of the heat.

This was the first time I ever stayed at a hostel and I had a pretty great experience. The hostel itself reminds me of summer camp with the 10 bunkbed per room style dormitory, the giant mess hall in the front and the bathrooms being separated from the rooms (they're downstairs). It looked like your run of the mill summer...
