The Hotel Landhaus is not a fancy hotel, but it is a very nice one. It's been restored with care and keeps its character — some doors are bigger than other. The rooms are clean, comfortable and come with TVs and sinks. The check-in was friendly and fast. The breakfast is delicious with good coffee and local products in a...

Just stayed one night at Hotel Landhaus. Location is great. It is not inside the old town, but you can walk 3 mins to get there. You can walk to Bear garden or rose garden by few minutes. The nearest tram station is also located at Bear Garden. Hotel also provides free tram pass to visit tourist area (Zone 100...

Great location on the river side and opposite bridge to the old town. Old house nicely transformed. Our room was nicely modernized and had new laminated flooring instead of dust accumulating carpets...great idea. Staff at recept ion was friendly and helpful while the owner served a very good breakfast the next morning. There is no lift and our room was...

The premises were extremely clean, I had my own space thanks to the separate departments despite having booked a 6 beds room. The WiFi signal was a bit poor in the 1st floor and the metalic locker a bit noisy to pack/unpack at an early/late time of the day. However, the staff was so friendly and lovely that it makes...

This hotel is a 7 minute bus ride from the train station. The buses come every 6 minutes, even at night if you want to come back to the old city at night. The river is just across the street from the hotel and the views - steps away - are perfect for seeing the many clock towers in adorable...

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel for two nights in July. The location is excellent - right next to the bear park and a short walk over the bridge to the old town. Number 12 bus gets you from the main station to the hotel in around 15 minutes. Everything felt quite new, clean and well kept. The breakfast...

Firstly, look at the picture. The Hotel Landhaus is the grey building on the right. NOT the cream one on the left. And it is the one on the left that is called Landhaus. The building on the right houses back packers accommodation. And is expensive to boot. No parking available. Public parking is paid for over the street. No...

It's a bit tricky to find this place, once you do hard to figure out what to do with the car. Once we got this straightened out, things were better. Front desk is so friendly. Everyone there was a friend. I wish I could remember their names, but they were so sweet. Long, windy, dark staircase up to our room....

This hotel was located just across the river from the old city of Bern. We stayed here three nights and enjoyed being able to walk over the bridge to Bern. The hotel was clean and the WIFI was good. The breakfast was very good. The staff were very helpful. We also had free passes on the city bus and train...

Even though the hotel was full, the owner helped us for an hour scour the town of Bern for another place to stay; an excellent service for two struggling with all the German webpages. Even called ahead and reserved a place nearby for us! Very nice.
