Basic hotel close to the train station with comfortable and quite large rooms. The rooms at the backside are clear and silent. The last time I was there, because of workings, tehy did not offer breakfast but only croissants and coffee/tee at the (small) lobby.

It looks like they are starting to refurbish which will be a good thing. Greeted outside by the Reception staff having a cigarette - classy. The water feature in the lobby is empty/defunct. The electric sockets in the room are by the bed (see photo). When I say by the bed, I mean your pillow is resting against them, at...

Had a one night stay in this hotel. Room was very spacious for a single and had it's own little balcony overlooking the rear of the hotel. Really quiet, and very friendly staff. Decent tub shower with loads of pressure.

Walking distance to the train, bus station and the center of the city. The reception workers are extremly professional, kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and standard. Remember that Bern is a historic city, therefore no new hotels in the center of the city. Keep one eye to this hotel, they are remodeling.

Basic accommodations right in the city center. On the upper floors, rooms x05-x09 have a great view over the tram station and the main train station entrance. Very convenient to shopping in the old city. The bed was softer than I, or my back, like. I had a double room on the 5th floor. It was very spacious. Wifi was...

We were a family of five and stayed one night in Hotel City am Bahnhof, in two rooms. The hotel is in a very good location - 3 minute walk from the trainstation and central to Old Town and all the Bern highlights. We went during Onion Festival - even if this doesn't sound fun to you, I guarantee it...

We arrived at Bern railway station in the early hours of the morning having missed a flight connection and missed the last train. We spotted the hotel from the front of the station and hoped they had a room where we could get our heads down for the rest of the night. The night porter was particularly uninterested and unhelpful...

Don't be fooled by the price (after all, this is Switzerland) - this is a basic three-star hotel. The first thing to note is that the name on the building is "Hotel City" - it would be easier to find if they either dropped the "am Bahnhof" from their online persona or added it to the name of the hotel...

We stayed here for 2 nights. Only one elevator so we are just using the stair the whole time. The hotel is just a walking distance to the terminal, malls and restaurants. Good location and wonderful staff.

This very centrally located Hotel is clean and modern. Room with Flat-TV and Minibar is spacious. Toilet and bath both clean and functional. Staff is very kind from check-in through check-out. Goodbye was with a smile :) I can absolutely recommend a stay. Will be back if in Berne since I liked the very easy access to Tram, Bus and...
