We stayed here one night in December 2012 and my parents stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms were very nice though quite small but we were fine with that. The bathroom was very nice and so clean! The morning breakfast was great - but I would not pay for it I would only eat it if it was included...

We stayed in this hotel for one night during Christmas holiday. For pros, first goes to its fantastic location. No.11 tram was right before the hotel and directly went to the train station/city centre. And it also located in the old town region, and you can walk easily there. Second, there are really help staff in the reception. Well, we...

Basel is expensive, not as expensive as Geneva but when you are paying over 3 pounds for an espresso it's pricey. Hotel D at 80 pounds a night was beautifully clean, had a wonderful rain effect shower and friendly staff (especially Lara at reception) all for less than the cost of 27 espressos a night! Bargain. Perfectly located for trams...
