This hotel was very accommodating to me and my friends for 2 whole weeks helping plan things and answering questions. The staff in every department was amazing and the breakfast every morning is perfect! The older style hotel was perfect for the setting in Perugia. Quiet, but would recommend to people of all ages!

This was our second visit to the Fortunate and it suits us perfectly as its position is so close to the town centre and the ice cream parlour!! The hotel is lovely and both times we chose to stay in the room with the beautiful fresco on the ceiling and two toilets (well why not!). The room is comfortable as...

This is a beautiful hotel in a historic medieval tower in the Perugia city center. Many years ago I visited a friend when she stayed here and remembered this hotel when I returned to Perugia. My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon here and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff are friendly, very helpful, and speak...

The hotel is perfectly located in the old centre of Perugia. We had booked an economy room which was absolutely fine for what we wanted. We loved the quirkiness of the hotel. I cannot understand the complaints about the breakfast which was perfectly adequate. The charming lady in charge was very happy to make an excellent cappuccino upon request We...

Thank you very much for your kind comments we are pleased to have made it enjoyable. As for the Internet connection we have 4 different lines with very thick walls and it can happen that when we are full, with many people in the hotel the connection may slow down, but if he had asked our staff are available 24...

Arrived by car for 3 nights. Parked in U/G parking at Piazza Partigiani, as recommended by hotel staff. Took elevators to town centre and 5 minute walk to Hotel. Obtained reduced parking rate of 11 Euro/day from hotel. Originally in single room facing street, due to noise had to change rooms. Single room was compact with narrow bed. Ended up...

Dear Mr Richard, Thank you for the kind words we are happy to note that he appreciated our advice on where to park your car with our preferential rate of € 11.00 instead of € 17.00 per day in the comfortable parking Partisan Square. We note with regret that you found the buffet not complete but is made up of...

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is in the centre of the old town, very close to the Palazzo dei Priori and the Duomo. The building is old, which has a certain charm. Frescoes on the walls (we had a few in our room) look classy. However, compared to other hotels in Umbria its value for money is...

Dear we are happy to note that he appreciated our central location in the historical center a short walk from the main street Corso Vannucci, and our guest house from 1200 each with original frescoes of 1800. Sorry did not appreciate our value to our structure, we have at least 52 rooms are all different and each has its own...

This is a nice and comfortable hotel in the heart of Perugia. It fully deserves its three stars. The executive room upstairs have a very beautiful view over Perugia and the nearby hills. Rooms tend to no frills, but have all one needs (spacious wardrobe, mini-fridge, 32" tv, free wifi, small safe, hairdryer, etc.). The double bed was comfortable and...

The location is unbeatable - a few metres from the main square of the medieval town (once you've ascended the hill - take a taxi). The public rooms are grand enough, but my single bedroom was just this side of shabby, with a view only into an ugly airwell. The toilet/shower room had a risky couple of steps in it,...

Picked as city centre, so handy for restaurants and sights, etc. Also for bus station and Umbria railway station (main Trenitalia away out and need to catch Minimetro to get there). Stylish and friendly staff, breakfast OK, only thing I'd recommend is if single go for a double room, as the single rooms are very small with narrow beds

The location is great. We had no idea of the layout of the old town. We picked this as a walkable choice from the last minimetro stop. Luckily it was a great idea. It's near a viewpoint on the old wall. We didn't realize it until the afternoon before we left, but it is also near escalators going down through...
