Spent several nights here. We had what seemed to be the highest room in the hotel, so spectacular views over the rooftops, and quiet. Hotel is tucked away in a little alley but very well situated for the centre with plenty of places to eat nearby. All in all, a decent hotel and would happily return here.

Albergo Fortuna is in old town Perugia, off the beaten path but close to all the central attractions. Well staffed and hospitable. Breakfast buffet good -- not extravagant, but well prepared -- and you can ask for eggs prepared for you. Some small tour groups encountered. Upper floors have great views over the roof tops into the valley below. Very... More

What a great little place this is. It's close to the main pedestrian road in Perugia and near enough to everything to walk. We took a train from Rome to Perugia and were able to get the mini-metro up into the heart of the city. From there is was short 5 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel is very... More

Dear kind guests, we thanks for appreciating our central position, staff, breakfast and quality of our rooms. The parking places we suggest at check in are: our valet service in front of the hotel or Piazza Partigiani parking area, at only 5 minutes of moving stairs from us. Kind regards More

The hotel is very cosy. The location is perfect in the heart of the historical Perugia. The staff is professional and naturally frendly. Some wishes for the breakfast: more cheeses, ham and vegetables, less sweet products.

Very convenient, comfortable size, extremely agreeable staff. You realize you are in Italy, not in a glitzy international chain hotel with no identity. And a few steps away you are in center of a beautiful, old, small city.

This is an old, narrow building on a corner of an alley and very narrow street on the edge of Perugia's centre. The reception is nice enough with old wood decor and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The lift is very small; it just about gets two people and suitcases in and is rather old. Our room was... More

This was our first hotel arrange by our walking tour. Nice but nothing fancy. Room was rather dark and bed very low to ground. Wonderful location. What really made it wonderful was the terrace on the roof with a great view.

Hotel Fortuna is a wonderful hotel, located centrally, and is a part of a beautiful city! They provided safe storage for our bikes, a very comfortable room, and a marvelous breakfast. Perugia itself, the architecture, my camera could not do it justice. Magnificent!

This hotel isn’t top notch, but can be a good value. First the good news – we had a great view from our room. But there are so many shortcomings that I hesitate to recommend it wholeheartedly. Our “Executive Double Room” just had a bit more space, but not useful space. The shower was tiny and the furnishings just OK.... More
