We stay in Santa Rosa every time we come. To be in San Rufino piazza is priceless for us. The apartments here are large, beautiful and well maintained. The gardens in back are fabulous and peaceful. We cook in our kitchen to save money eating out so we can stay here longer. It's a two hour train ride from Rome....

I am so happy to read these comments because for us, this is not like a hotel. It is our family's home and we want to make it like that for everyone. We live here so we feel that we are more than just the owners and we want everyone to feel welcome and at home in our family apartments....

This apartment was an ideal place for our stay in Umbria. Stayed here for 6 nights with my family and a family friend. The apartment is very comfortable as this was the former home of the owners of the Palazzo apartments. Wonderful views from all the rooms. Warm and comfortable living room. Stove, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine also worked...

Thank you for your lovely comments. We do live here still and we are happy to help with anything that might be needed to make your stay comfortable. I am always happy to hear that guests are using the kitchen as it always seems more like home when you cook for yourself! We hope to see you again.

I just spent a month in Assisi staying at Palazzo Minciotti. I was alone, and I stayed in Santa Rosa (the smallest apartment). My comments apply only to that apartment. There are many things to recommend here: A/C works very, very well; kitchen has much to offer; beds are comfortable; bathroom is more than adequate. But keep in mind that...

Thank you so much for your detailed review. It helps others to know as much as possible about our apartments before they come. We await your return and we will earn your respect (and our health) by getting the smokers in the building to quit!

I went with several friends for a girls' trip, and this was my second time staying here. Anna Maria and Edoardo couldn't have been more perfect hosts. That's why I went back. Beautiful old building completely modernized on the inside. Will be going back again! And Assisi is a great location to visit surrounding Umbria.

Assisi is a beautiful and fascinating place to visit and I can't imagine a more perfect place to stay than Palazzo Minciotti. The views from the apartment and the garden are stunning, particularly the sunsets looking out over the valley below. The location is excellent - just step out the door for shops and restaurants - and only a short...
