St. Anthony's was recommended by a friend who had stayed here and also by Rick Steves. Finding it was problematic and we wandered around a bit before finally finding the gate. The rooms are simple but we woke in the morning to the sound of flute music (probably a recording ) and the sight of dozens of martins swirling around...

This inn is housed in a centuries old convent on a tree lined street in the center of Assisi. Near St. Clare's church and piazza, the inn is an easy walking distance from virtually everywhere in Assisi, including the Basilica of St. Francis at the bottom of the hill and the town. Situated atop a hill, the views of Assisi...

We loved our stay at St. Anthony's Guest House. The sisters were wonderful and helped us in everything we needed. The breakfast was very simple, which we didn't mind, the room was pleasant, and the view was beautiful. Thank you sisters for our wonderful stay!

This Guest House is a marvelous place to stay. It is located on the opposite end of town from St. Francis' Basilica so you avoid the bustle of tourists, yet enjoy a simple walk through town to visit all the sights. The rooms are simple, comfortable and spotless with soul-inspiring views out virtually every window. There is nice seating area...

This was just such a change of pace from our trip so far, the Sister's greeted us with open arms when we arrived. We were made to feel at home instantly . The rooms are simple , but clean neat and well presented. The Sisters were very helpful with any question we had. The Monastery has a beautiful garden and...

This is our favorite place to stay in Italy. Sister Sue and all the sisters are so welcoming. They remembered us from the previous year. The rooms are very clean and roomy, with comfortable beds. The views are absolutely spectacular. There is a library with nearly a 360° view overlooking the valley below. The breakfast is a typical delicious Italian...

I have stayed here many times over the years but had not been back for nearly ten years. I was delighted to see that it remains unchanged, every bit as peaceful and relaxing as ever. The rooms are simple but comfortable with large- (at least for Italy) sized modern bathrooms. And the indomitable Sister Sue still oversees it all with...

A glorious stay in this beautiful guesthouse run by religious sisters. It's a simple place but lovely, with amazing views, brilliantly located with great hospitality. I almost don't want to write a good review as I'd like it to be just as peaceful when I go next time!

My partner and I travelled to Assisi with my 85 year old mother. We couldn't have asked for a more welcoming, comfortable, well-located place. Sister Sue and her community have created a clean, serene, loving guest house that helps transport you into the world of Francis and Clare. It is centrally located, allowing easy walks to various sites in town...

Just loved this place from the moment I pushed the buzzer and heard the beautiful welcoming words of Sister Sue. This guest house of St Anthony is spotlessly clean, amazingly peaceful, restful, quiet and offers a library and the most wonderful views. If this is not enough, there are quiet spaces all around the guesthouse ( within it ' s...
