I wanted to share my positive experience of staying in this hotel. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet piazza, minutes from the main square Il Campo. The hotel has a bijoux feel and is totally un-pretentious. My twin room was small but uncluttered. When I opened the wooden shutters I saw the most beautiful view of the buildings...

In Canada our streets are all in a grid, and Siena is not, which is VERY cool, but this place was quite difficult to find (we probably would have found it quicker had we taken a taxi!). We called for directions & the guy was not very friendly or helpful. However, once we found it, we found our room to...

La Perla is located smack in the center of Siena. The room was clean, the bed and shower were fine. The biggest problem is climbing the stairs with suitcases. I would rate this a good bargain, but not an ideal location for the not-so-young traveller.

The location is perfect - very close to the Piazza and Duomo. We paid 80 euro per night for a very small room (no. 16) with a tiny bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the room warm and the water hot. The problem we had was that our room (along with a few others) was immediately above a bar. This is...

Fantastic location - only two minutes to the Campo. The room was small and simple but had everything we needed. The small ensuite and room were very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Be warned you will have to carry your bags up two flights of stairs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Perla. Its location is perfect - across from the taxi stand and only a few steps from Piazza del Campo. The rooms are on the small side but, in August with good airconditioning, this was a plus. Everything was clean and comfortable. We'd stay again any time. And Jacopo and his staff could...

This was a wonderful little hotel located in the walled city of Siena. If you want to stay where the action is at, this is the place for you. It's off the main square so not as noisy. The bathroom is really interesting with the shower and toliet are combined. Very clean and helpful staff. We had 3 rooms rented...

The staff here were very friendly and helpful, with good english. The location was fantastic, and only seconds walk to the Piazza dell Campo and the Palazzo Repubblica. The rooms were basic, but we had a good view and the bed was very comfortable. The shower in the ensuite was a little cramped but worked perfectly well and they have...

...and a bit pricey. But were there only 2 days after Il palio. Small basic rooms, breakfast not included. Excellent location but a bit noisy, Il Palio partying. Good for a 1 night stopover. Any longer find something else. Siena is great place.

The hotel's location is excellent, 2 min walk to Piazza del Campo. We had one of the attic rooms which has superb view of San Domenico. Our room was cozy and very quiet, the only slight problem was the occasional unpleasant smell from the bathroom. For €80, I think there are better places in Siena.
