Hotel is located on a major traffic circle on the Northern edge of Siena, so it is noisy if facing traffic. It wasn't a problem for sleeping however. Easy access in/out of Siena North to Chianti Region, or to major highways. A little difficulty with language re instructions, etc. Italian style breakfast was good. Italians seem to love sweet pastries... More

We had a good stay in the Piccolo Chianti in 2011, and we came again this year. We liked it very much this time too. The service from Signora Alessandra and her team is welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts are good and plentiful. The hotel is on the edge of town, but there is a bus stop nearby for regular... More

If this hotel is a pitt stop in your Italian adventure, its a cheap hotel close to Siena. Its only like a 10min drive from Siena which is great, but if you didnt have a car, this would make it difficult to get to/from. Didnt notice the noise people spoke about, but it did feel like you were staying in... More

I really like this hotel. I think it is more of bed and breakfast then hotel. It is located 10-15 minutes DRIVING from old Sienna district. There is free parking by hotel. Hotel and room and bathroom were pristine clean. The breakfast was home made, and coffee was awesome. There is mini fridge in the room. Internet connection is good,... More

Stayed here in January of 2012. Very reasonably priced small hotel, outside of the old city of Siena, run by a friendly family. Excellent room with private bath. Ample breakfast with many nice choices. Only negative is location on a busy street, but soundproof windows and quiet at night.

The Piccolo is unfortunately located on a main road which detracts from what is actually quite a nice hotel. The rooms are spacious & clean & nicely decorated. The breakfast pastries seem to be homemade, going by the delicious smells coming from the kitchen in the early evening! Breakfast is plentiful & tasty. Car parking is free & on-site which... More

Our family enjoyed staying in this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. We felt very welcomed by the staff (thank you Cristina for sharing about G. Nannini). Breakfast was fantastic! If we find ourselves back in Siena, we'll be sure to stay here again!

Excellent service from everyone at this hotel. Very good breakfasts. The only slight negative is that (as others have said) it's a precarious walk from the hotel to the nearest bus stops - Take care.

Booked this having read the reviews on tripadvisor and it didn't disappoint. This is a lovely B&B on the outskirts of Siena, which has the most fantastic service. Nothing is too much for the staff at this hotel (I think it's all the same family) and they really made our stay. We stayed two nights in a big room for... More
